I have a even better option for Sentry that its still thematic, had animation potential and its a close fight.
The Sentry VS Gemini Saga (Marvel Comics VS Saint Seiya)
- Both are overpowered characters with mutiple personalities desorder (and that hop from hero to vilain depending on wich personalitie is in control) that are part of an group with the task of protecting (Heroes and the Saints) and that have a title with "golden" (Golden Guardian and Golden Gemini Saint).
- Both where one of the most loved and respected members of the group said before, wich the only persons knowing about the darkness in their mind being close members of their families (Sentry's wife and Saga's twin brother), after that years of their lifes where put into lies that everyone belived (Saga pretending to be the Pope and Sentry erasing people's memories).
- Both of them betrayed their groups (Avengers and Saints) at some point.
- Both where also under the command of vilains that brought then back to life before and end betraying those vilains too (Tough Saga was only pretending to be in Hades side while Sentry was just by Apocalypse side).

You're literally implying that 2-B Pokémon is more reasonable than 2-A. Because Mewtwo scales from Necrozma who absorbed light from the Ultra Space and can cross al over it, which is either finite or infinite depeding on the cosmology size. You you either accept both the ends or you don't agree with neither.

No matter what, and no matter how much I like Hazama vs Gin. I can't let go of Adachi vs Hazama no matter what.
I just still like that match up, even with Kira as Adachi's popular match up. I just can't.

"Chaos Shadow" is just Shadow without his inhibitor rings, and in a Chaos Boost like form, Archie Shadow really doesn't have much that makes him different from his game counterpart, in fact I think only Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman have enough differences from all Archie Sonic characters
