Who can be a good opponent against Poison Ivy? I have heard of Kurama (YYHS), Zomboss, Mukae Emukae, Zyra, Lust (?), Viridi (?), Treyni, Kame Rider Gaim or Rosyuo, Wood Man, Malfurion Stormage, Groot (wtf?), Petey Piranha (...), etc.
Now I suddenly am thinking:

Joker curbstomps because Persona scales to 5D+no connections and Misogi has literally zero connections other than "Overpowered Teenager". Kumagawa vs Fate Angra Mainyu is a way better matchup.

He's basically the main villain of Fate, and is a main character in one part (Albeit it hasn't been animated yet)

-both do have their trusty a guarding spirit fighting for them mostly
-both Joker and Giorno were outcasts due to different reasons (Joker being framed for a crime he didn't do and Giorno being abused, respectively)
-both joined a team and became the leader of (The Phantom Thieves and Team Bucciarati, respectively)
But sure no connections, cuz a big match up like this was made just for ***** and giggles....

Well these can be considered legit close connections. The bad things are
1. Joker wins so hard it is not funny.
2. It is hard to explain Golden Experience Requiem and is sad to explain so because it matters not in this particular matchup.
No. Death Battle Wiki also thinks that Blake Belladonna wins over Mikasa Ackerman.
In fact some people do not like Blake vs Mikasa because the fight is more "predictable" than Geese's counters.

Incorrect.
Lex has 90 years of comic book history and could easily pull something out of his ass that your average guy wouldn't know about.
While Shadow does stomp in Ryuko vs Shadow, Ryuko's incredibly regeneration at least lets
Joker has a single game and Giorno has 1/8th of a Manga series. The question isn't "Who would win?", the question is "Can Joker bypass this one specific ability?". Not to mention, no matter what end you go off of, Giorno dosn't have a win condition.

We know that finding a non-stompy matchup can be difficult. Esp. with a 7.5 X bar.
But...
There are stomps that can be fun. There are stomps that are not fun. This is the difference.
To normies: Giorno scales above Jotaro who is small building level for tossing a small section of a building. P5 Joker scales above that empress Mitsuru who does a at least town attack.
To VS debaters: GER cannot even kick in.
It is not about stompiness. It is about value of debate. This has less debate value than even Blake vs Mikasa I would say. (At least we can debunk how Mikasa killing Eren is taken out of context and how breaking a bridge feat yields higher than breaking a church feat and how Blake matches in skill and is "several times faster")
Also, they would need to explain how GER works - which is hard to explain - just to say that it matters not in the end - which will lead to a foreseeable bad fame on Rooster Teeth. If they want to sell how GER works, at least they should use it on an opponent which can be affected by such.
Last time people look into the El Cates upgrade into Venom in Venom vs Crona just to discard the whole thing altogether without even a good focus on why this El Cates run should be disregarded.

This is just nitpicking my man, logically none of those stomps are fun as its unfair, they can be good if done in an enjoyable way
They have the manga description that explains on it, if the researchers also use guides or such like jojoveller/jojo a go go they get even more stuff for him
Its not even hard to explain the powers, rtz can be literally put as a youtube video for example where GER makes you go back to 0:00 each time you are near the end of the video, rest of them is as straight forward as you have
