D&D Adventurer WIP Blog Pt. III

Well according to Forgotten Realms when a god enters another multiverse they usually need to make a new aspect for that area.

My god

The fact were always there. We were just too blind to see them

we are not making prime skeleton man a sans undertale meme

I'm listening.

Okay.

So the first step of my plan

Is to get official D&D character themes

So that I can then mash Vecna's up with Megalovania.

This will all make sense, I swear.

Alexa google how much mountain dew it takes to fully poison a human being

@Qawsed I assume it's you who uploaded the Demogorgan image

We have Orcus and I Can't Believe It's Not Orcus

Huh. I forgot about this. So like, Demogorgon and Orcus actually have versions of themsevles in Mystara. And..... they're also Immortals. So like, should we give them a High 2-A key or just ignore it for the moment.

Our boy has gone from two mandrills in a cheap Halloween costume to two mandrills pulling off a very well-executed cosplay that they clearly worked on for many months.

Are they similar enough to utilize the same general powers? I genuinely can't remember.

They're both Immortals and have all of the same powers/abilites that PC and NPC Immortals have.

> The two following individuals command all the other demons described in this section. However, they are but two of the many Eternals of this Sphere

They also seem thicker than they're main universe counterparts.

Also Mystara Demogorgon is a woman. Which I did not know about until today

So High 2-A Orcus and Demogorgon? Or do we ignore Mystara for now. Presumably the keys would be "Aspect | True Form | Tenebrous, with the Last Word | With the Last Word and Wand of Orcus | Mystara/Immortal" and "Aspect | True Form | Lesser God | Mystara/Immortal"

Okay. Makes sense. If we do agree to give Orcus and Demogorgon a Immortal key we can handle it then

Wait wut

Nurn Comes Clea

If Nurn accompanies the PCs, it is during this trip that he realizes that he might better serve his master by gaining the PCs' complete confidence. He decides to reveal the full truth to the heroes. If the PCs had driven him away earlier, he uses his metafaculty psionic ability to locate them now and approach them for parley—he wants to work with them, not against them. He says:

• "The balance of Law and Chaos is at risk, and I must admit something you may find unpleasant, but you must promise to hear me out, if we are to restore balance."

• "It is true that Aameul is one aspect of Demogorgon— one of his heads. And Hethradiah is the other."

• "Hethradiah understands that the fabric of the multiverse itself will be lessened if Demogorgon becomes essentially one being, not two. This would be true whether Aameul or Hethradiah somehow managed to slay the other. Hethradiah knows that to prune one head of Demogorgon, a great lord of Chaos, will lessen the role of Chaos in the multiverse, and thus seeks to preserve his current status."

• "Thus, we can work together to defeat Ashardalon, and see to it that he ceases to feed on life force. Moreover, we will end the beating of his stolen demonic heart, and so it will no longer present Aameul with a way to subvert the natural order of the cosmos."

• "I hope that, despite our differences, we can temporarily work together for a common cause."

• "Aameul and Hethradiah are not separate physical entities, and thus each must employ agents. Aameul knows that none of his agents, not even the Cathezar, stands a chance against Ashardalon without the aid of the descendant of Dydd. But Aameul hopes that with that person, the dragon can be overcome, and the supercharged demonic soul-within-a-soul retrieved."

If the PCs drive him off, Nurn attempts to follow them at a distance so that he can be present when they finally face Ashardalon.

I mean

Demogorgan being the strongest Demon Lord and having a 2-A feat doesn't seem too insane

The strongest archdevil turned 2-A, after all

I was more shocked that somehow Demogorgon's insanity is such a important aspect of the multiverse that if he became sane the very fabric of existence would weaken.

Chock it up to a bored writer.

Actually once I get Demogorgon all sorted out, should I do a profile for an Immortal? So we can just get everything down for them when we start to do the Composite Class profiles.

Yes, actually. Just any notable Immortal will do.

Btw been expanding the low-tiers a lot, slowly adding all NPCs from Curse of Strahd, probably gonna do Temple of Elemental Evil or Barrier Peaks next.

Probably do Thanatos then with his dank intelligence rating of 98

clearly he watches richard and mortimer

I've been meaning to ask @Mr. Bambu, but is it possible to calculate an explosion that shifts a planet's axis. Or is that just impossible to calculate

Wasn't there a thing that Immortals, just like Gods, could use all magic in the setting

This isn't too out there, as MToF implies that any of the top-tier demon lords could become threats to the multiverse and everything in it if they didn't have to wage constant war against the Nine Hells and each other.

They're inherently using their powers in unproductive ways, which would explain why they haven't reached their full potential.

Yeah check the note at the bottom.I didn't know how how to list the powers besides like "He has every power on this site".

Ah okay, just making sure.
