After swallowing a coin, Rex breathed, letting his mind drift over his memories, slightly every wound on his body vibrated while a smile grew in his being.

"I'm fine with whatever you decide."
Soon, they'd arrive at the place Rex said.

"For starters..." she snapped her fingers, causing an aura, "I'll make a temporary condition that: "Within this sparring with Taeka Fukuhara, there'd be multiple conditions:

1. I won't be able to use Transfusion and any other strong abilities (No Kiokusha, Memory Manipulation, Bitter Taste, or Locked On) other than [Spring].
2. Given we're both the same speed, I won't be using Godspeed to amp myself any further.
3. Memory Replay would only record this fight and I would be unable to use it here.

As for Taeka, she's freely able to go all out on me. Weapons are allowed, hence I can only use Glass but not use it's Memory Control power." Yoshioka explained, before placing a hand to cover her face, letting go and covering herself in a glass armor.

"Rex will be the referee..." she continued, before getting ready and distancing herself from Taeka.

"That seems fair. It's kind of like your equivalent of how I fight with these weights on..." She said, preparing to draw her sword, "I'm ready when you are!"

Rex left Space for both of them to begin.

"You know, no serious injuries, the knockout is fine but don't get destroyed in this, so... START".

Given she can't use Godspeed as per the rules she omitted, she instead use Spring to twist her arms and legs, before doing a stance, slowly approaching Taeka as she sizes her up.

Taeka walks toward Yoshioka, not pulling out any weapons at the moment. Her walking slowly began to pick up speed as she sprung forward on one foot, hooking her other one around Yoshioka's ankle and using the momentum from the step to disrupt her balance before the sound of a footstep could be heard, indicating which angle she was coming from. It would sound like one of Taeka's legs landed to the left of Yoshioka, most likely the trajectory for a palm strike or punch while her target was off balance.

However, that was not the angle she was coming from.

Much like upon her introduction, sound failed to be a reliable indicator of her location. From above Yoshioka's head, Taeka brought a foot down, attempting a downward axe kick on the head of her sparring partner.

Yoshioka slightly tripped over, or at least committed to her falling, as she tried to calculate the possible moves she would do, but to no extent.

Given she already was tripping, she instead calculated the wind instead of the sound, and since Taeka was above, she'd roll to the side during falling to avoid the kick.

Sneakily, she'd spin ever so slightly to reach out her right hand with an open palm to catch the kick and attempt to use the momentum Taeka performed to flip her upside down.

Little Xordy woke up eventually from her nap and saw her master fight one of the most recent members in their group, she would scratch behind the ears with her limb from the back, then shakes herself rapidly as she just stood up straight to watch Yoshioka fight

Worth seeing if lightning could strike twice, Taeka supposed.

As she was flipped upside down, her blade shot upward, almost as if it was hurled toward Yoshioka. The hand that launched the blade caught her as she flipped, with her legs pivoting counterclockwise to deliver a powerful kick across Yoshioka's jaw. Losing no momentum, she swung her other leg and performed a macaco, springing up with a follow up kick to the jaw as she sprung to her feet, leaping back and firing her gun as two bullets hurdled toward the Godspeed.

But one of the bullets completely missed? Should Yoshioka attempt to evade the bullet, there would be no homing or attempt from it to pursue her. That meant Taeka had fired regular bullets, not the newer ones she had created.

As her sword was still in mid-air, preparing to descend, the bullet that had completely missed Yoshioka was apparently never supposed to hit her. Instead, due to the increased firing power of her upgraded gun, the bullet Taeka shot had ricocheted to hit the hilt of her sword, changing its momentum to land toward Taeka.

While all this was happening, Taeka darted forward, outspeeding the bullet that was aimed toward Yoshioka and delivering a barrage of chain punches to her chest before switching to a combination of Wing Chun and boxing, delivering a one-two combination with open palms before swiftly moving out of the way as the bullet whizzed past her to strike Yoshi.

Taeka had used her own body as a screen to hide the trajectory of the regular bullet that was actually aimed toward Yoshioka.

Given Yoshioka was the one who created them, analyzing mid-battle wasn't out of equation. Brain splitting was a great skill to have, knowing that the Glass armor would simply take the bullets no problem.

What she saw was something close to this. A feint followed by an attack— that which she didn't know— and then the bullet coming to hit her.
Taeka had used her own body as a screen to hide the trajectory of the regular bullet that was actually aimed toward Yoshioka.
In skill, Yoshioka knew Taeka was superior given her martial arts prowess. But seeing her moves, with some hitting her as the bullet she fired would be dodged by her.

She instead opted to instead just wait out and analyze, blocking most of her punches, but still struggling to get the technique. Generalizing it as mere "punches with extra steps" was the first choice, but it never was optimized. Going for sudden attacks and dirty work was her forte, so a fair fight like this only hindered her more than she imagined.

Taeka swiftly struck both ears of Yoshioka, utilizing Fok Sao from there, with her body flowing from one motion to another seamlessly, even down to the microseconds. A combination of punches to the chest and solar plexus, with her utilizing palm strikes toward the face to preserve the hands. Should Yoshioka attempt a counter attack, Taeka would spring back.

As this all happened, the bullet Yoshioka dodged had also ricocheted and hit the hilt of her blade before it fell toward Taeka's hand. She caught it with a smirk, and shortly after, an explosion triggered right in front of Yoshioka. With the heat and force from the explosion, sound and wind would be masked. Taeka was practically invisible during the initial explosion.

A bullet would whizz by on Yoshioka's right, puncturing her Achilles tendons. The sound of more ricocheting bullets would soon follow. 4 bounced toward her, all in different directions. They looked like the bullets that were designed to home in and detonate on contact. Those were mixed in with the pinballing projectiles Taeka had put in the battlefield?

Should Yoshioka make an attempt to counteract or dodge them, the sound of incoming footsteps could be heard from each direction around her, and Taeka darted past Yoshioka while delivering a cut to her opponent's body with Kotetsu.

But, just then, Yoshioka's idea came to mind. Given she's only limited to only using Spring and Glass without the gift of it's control over memories, there's less applications and less variety in her attacks.

Though this did not mean, she was gonna let herself just be reliant on the room she was given. Like a good construction worker, she would use every bit of cement. In this case, it was...

[Compression]

Normally, Compression was just an application of Spring applied to her own body, wherein the kinetic energy produced would result in an explosive increase in speed.

Dodging the cut made, the coils from Yoshioka's legs would begin to retract once again, before she began to clap her hands together.

When closing your palms together, there's still some air trapped within it. Sure, it's still a little, but there's still some of it lying within.

Slowly, the air would slowly compress. Given she was only using basic things like making the air into a visible wall, what would happen if she compressed it?

Since energy cannot be created nor destroyed and simply moves towards another location, to which would the air go?

Compressing the air makes the molecules move more rapidly, which increases the temperature. But... Hypothetically, what if Spring were to compress air enough to the point where the particles are so close together and it becomes a solid?

What would happen then?

Given it's not just air being compressed but CO2, in so doing heat is removed, thus...

Dry ice.

With no more room to escape, said beam of cold air would shot out towards Taeka upon such release.

As Taeka's blade whiffed, she looked back toward Yoshioka, and bullets shot forward toward her legs as they began to retract again, once again appearing to aim for limiting her mobility by piercing the Achilles tendons.

She quickly turned around and began to focus her mind, facing Yoshioka as she leapt up toward a wall, instinctively leaping to another to play keep away before shooting another bullet toward Yoshioka. From the angle she shot it at, it would be a straight shot, making it extremely difficult to determine what manner of bullet it was.

As it was inches away from the Godspeed, an explosion could be heard behind her, and soon, growing louder as the heat could be felt. However, there was no one or anything there aside from just that: an explosion.

With increased momentum, an explosion could be felt and heard from the other side of her as a knee forcefully collided with the side of her face with greater speed and intensity than any of Taeka's previous strikes. The strike, should the Gallen's knee crudely embrace the Godspeed's face, would send her flying as seven bullets homed in on her, locking onto several pressure points of Yoshioka's body.

"I think we've both been unnaturally quiet during the course of this spar..." Taeka observed, "Is figuring me out as easy as you expected or not really?"

Given the Spring wasn't compressed enough, and since this was just a spar, Taeka dodging it was part of the possibilities she calculated. Before, suddenly pulling the air- into Spring- making a vacuum to suck the bullets in, as moving a lot would waste a little bit of stamina.

Yoshioka would twist her hands, still keeping her stance- moving the point of attraction towards Taeka- as the bullets she fired would be pulled in thanks to the air.

This would then be timed for Yoshioka to deactivate part of the Spring, releasing the air like a trampoline and flicking the explosion back.

However, given the pull from the air stopped, Yoshioka would produce limbs to grab onto Taeka- the ice beam fired from earlier- now unbounded by the Spring holding it would bounce back and hit the girl's back like a buckshot.

Said knee and intensity would hit her, but- according to the Third Law of Motion: "If object A exerts a force on object B, object B also exerts an equal and opposite force on object A."

Hooke's Law states that the more you deform a spring, the more force it will take to deform it further. Using the example of a common compression spring, the more you compress the spring, the more force it will take to compress it further.

Given her body was covered in glass armor, Yaomu would turn her body into Spring, using the force Taeka did- along with the seven bullet's kinetic energy, even the pressure points- and release them towards her right arm, whom she transferred the energy towards before hitting Taeka back with just as much- if not, more given the store energy from her strikes and with the aforementioned sources of energy.

Although both were faster than what his 5 senses could capture, it was different for the others, although there was no danger which disabled his battle sense for the moment, his seventh sense was Finding Evil that allows him to "smell" Evil, although Evil was not technically correct, encompasses what could be a hidden or palpable aggression, so the killer instinct of an animal could shine like the sun but also sense when someone wants to hit another person, however it depends a lot of reason, if reason is more playful, his sense would not perceive anything, however in training, Rex would perceive a slight light if he were close to the person.

the eighth is known as the third eye, which allows him to see the invisible such as souls and auras and finally the tenth sense of him, the "sense of humor" which allows Rex to feel emotions, very useful for detecting liars or an Apathy user

The emotions and souls of both Taeka and Yoshioka moved very quickly, but they were like something dazzling and left a trail, if Rex quickly scanned the pattern, he could actually create a guide that would allow him to know the trajectory of an attack, as such put himself first and prepare, read their spiritual "musculature" to predict them and be able to know what move will be, recreate the battle like a mental chess game.

"You still haven't answered my question, ya' know!" She said.

Taeka gripped her sword, attempting to cut down the limbs that grew to grab her. While she had some success, she would still be hit in the back of the head, the force from the ice and the shock of the cold would be enough to cause a normal person to lose consciousness.

But Taeka was not normal, especially for a Gallen.

Blown back the redirected kinetic energy, it would be enough to dislocate her right arm, something Taeka shrugged off as she swiftly popped it back into place. She would land on her feet, but not before bullets blasted toward her, carrying much greater speed than before. Streams of light followed the projectiles as they locked onto Yoshioka.

Were those... rocket bullets?

Taeka was back on the move again, still maintaining immense focus in spite of the discombobulating chill. With this mental fortitude she also began to move faster than she was at the start of her sparring match with Yoshioka. Should the Godspeed be tracking her, she would notice an explosion go off where she was, and a trail that appeared to emerge from it. From underneath Yoshioka, bullets appeared to have ricocheted up towards her at the same time, going off in her immediate vicinity.

Through the confusion from the consecutive explosions, what appeared to be a bullet whizzed through the air, grazing Yoshioka's cheek. However, when the smoke cleared...

It was Taeka?

Before this could be concentrated on, about five bullets fell like rain, as if dropped rather than fired. When two of them touched, another explosion triggered toward the face of Yoshioka as the Gallen leapt around in an unorthodox pattern. At this point, what she would do next was anyone's guess.

With a stomp, the ground would turn into a massive trampoline, as she'd reach her hand out at the center and make a twisting motion. Once again, the bullets would be collected into one big pile, as the air would become Spring. As for the leaping Taeka...

[Compression]

...parts of the surrounding air that had been compressed by Spring, would suddenly go off unnoticed thanks to the explosion Taeka herself committed... though it probably would be noticed, turning the ground into Spring was a surefire way to disorient the battlefield. [Uncoil]

...and- at the exact same time- release powerful gusts of wind and fire multiple hardened glass like buckshot, now boosted and ricocheting thanks to the bouncy floor.

In spite of everything so far, Taeka was still trying to keep in mind that this was a spar. The terms of life and death had been utilized, but Taeka still didn't want to take it that far...

Because even with the disadvantage of abilities, she was still concerned that she might inadvertently do something fatal. But should she hold onto that? It was Yoshioka's request, after all..

However, what made the Gallen truly deadly was yet to be seen. It had been shown in glimpses, but not in its entirety...

But relegating herself to not trying to do damage... that was ineffective. She had never even trained for such a possibility.

If it's a fight to the death, then maybe it was about time for her to fight like how she normally did. There were hundreds of "almost" deaths even in the past few months, but even so, she was the one that walked out of those battles where many of her foes didn't. Perhaps it was time for her to show why.

Kotetsu, riddled with explosive bullets on it, homed in and pierced through several of the projectiles. Even in spite of all of this, the sword had not one roll, dent, or warp. More explosions came about as Taeka punched through one of the incoming projectiles...

By using explosive bullets as a knuckle brace.

In spite of this, her hand appeared to be fine, not a bruise on it nor a burn. With her other hand, she threw another strike, one also combusting into an explosion.

By the time it cleared, Taeka was gone again. An adjustment was made to her gun, a simple switch of a setting and now her bullets were firing at a faster rate. Her handgun was semi-automatic. Bullets would surround Yoshioka. However, before the Godspeed could try and compress the air to deal with the additional bullet hell she was creating, they exploded into smoke.

The Gallen, however, was prepared in case she did so. She was analyzing how much of the air Yoshioka could compress at a time. More bullets rushed toward her as she would finish the process of compressing the air containing the smokescreen. They would pierce the shoulders, and some would even be slightly angled toward organs like the liver, lungs, and heart.

Now she was treating this like a life-or-death situation. And for Taeka, that meant to kill or be killed.

The sound of an explosion ripped through the air, and more exploding bullets homed in on Yoshioka, now in a bigger quantity than before due to the increased firing rate. As some went off, Taeka's sword could be seen emerging from one of them, coming from behind the Godspeed to impale her in the heart.

But Taeka was not there. Her kimono cast a shadow above her as a cartridge of ammo spilled as it fell from above, raining out bullets that would target her various pressure points and carotid arteries. One of these exploded into smoke before reaching her, and Taeka emerged from beneath the smoke with a burning garment to deliver a punch toward's Yoshioka's face with another explosive bullet knuckle brace.

However, she opened her palm, flinging the explosive bullets toward her face before firing another one as she descended. Swiftly rising back up with the burst of another explosion to deliver a knee strike to the ribcage before crawling upon the Godspeed's body in a swift and spider-like motion, putting her into a headlock and revealing a bouncing landmine of projectiles from ammo she had dumped aside while Yoshioka was distracted as she pushed her down through the smoke. Should she notice the look in Taeka's eyes, it was a wild one. As if speaking with only her face alone, the Gallen's would ask a bizarre and almost sadistic question...

"How many of these do you think explode?"

The answer was... none of them. The bullets bounced up, grazing both Taeka and Yoshioka before the Gallen tightened her grip, changing their angle as they bounced upward. There, Taeka's sword homed in and exploded toward them, propelled by explosive and rocket bullets and supported by gravity lending a helping hand.

It was going to pierce through both of them. Both of their hearts.

The question was very scary, and was indeed going to pierce both of their hearts, and- as the sword would home in- Taeka would hear something far more concerning that it is. There weren't a hint of fear given the Godspeed herself would request this kind of training, and it wouldn't be out of the question that the lady would've prepared for this exact scenario knowing she's practically a walking encyclopedia of knowledge- or at least, what most of her classmates would think if you'd give an interview.

Yet, for all that is worth....

She's laughing?

As the blade pierced what would be her heart, utilization of Spring didn't stop Yoshioka from moving her organs entirely. Shifting her body in many ways were already an application of using Spring to herself, so bending and reconfiguring her heart to another place, with the sword piercing nothing but her ribs, which would then bounce back in a cartoonish fashion.

"Kehehehehee..." the laugh wasn't even maniacal, but instead, it was something very funny? There were no jokes that Taeka made, so why would she even laugh?

"Ah! That's ticklish~" giggling to herself before the ground and Taeka's own arms become all rubbery, "Time to...."

Her own clothes would slightly bloat in size as she would push the Gallen off, "...inflate!" as Yoshioka would be slowly knocked back and begin bouncing on the ground like a bouncy castle, her jacket returning to its original size.

"[Spring]..." using the ground to bounce her off, she'd happily grab Taeka's arms and use her very body as a "Pole Vault!" and bending it to make her jump in the air, then grabbing said air and landing towards the Gallen into a "Trampoline!", trying to stop herself from laughing out loud.

Rex analyzed Yoshioka's tactics, it was strange but same time new, everyone has their styles, he assumed that she was like that, he wondered to what extent she would push herself or if she would remember that this is a simple practice, she really didn't need to break more and more her old self.

"hehe, apparently someone doesn't know when to stop innovating" he say

Shortly before the blade pierced, Taeka would let go of Yoshioka and spring back, with the sword piercing part of her leg instead of her heart. Her face was still one that was stoic yet feral. She grabbed what appeared to be a vial of a strange liquid and took a swig as she did so as she leapt. She was going to need it.

In this brief instance, Taeka thought back to something....

Not many years ago in the region of Jun, there was a magician who performed alongside a female assistant. She sat up in the front row next to a few individuals her age. Teenaged boys and girls watching the mind-bending magic. Or, what was portrayed as mind-bending magic.

Following this brief show, the lot walked together, discussing the show amongst themselves.

"That was so great! Especially the showstopper performance at the end!"

"I wonder how he did it..."

"But you know a magician never reveals their secrets... Still, I wish there was some way to know for sure..."

Taeka finally broke her silence in the conversation.

"Do you know why magicians have assistants?" She asked.

"Um, to assist?"

"Sort of..." Taeka said, walking in front of them before turning around, walking backwards while facing them, "They give you something to look at, instead of what the magician was doing. Bright outfits, nice appearance, the excessive hand movements and all, all of that is meant to distract you from the magician and what he does."

"Huh..."

"If you pay attention to him next time, you'll have a better chance of seeing how it works..." She continued.

"But how was the trick done?"

"Well..."

Taeka even in this younger and less experienced state could tell the arrival of Iron Warriors just by their scent. Chances are, this would be something that would need to be dealt with immediately....

"I'll tell you guys later.... OK?" Taeka said, drawing her sword and slowly approaching her opposition.

The blade was the "assistant", but it was not yet clear what the "magician" was doing.

"...Especially the showstopper performance at the end!"

A showstopper: the part of the show where the magician goes out with a...

BANG!

An explosion took place, spawning from the ribcage of Yoshioka. It blew Taeka back, but even after that, it didn't seem like her leg or being blown back by the bodily inferno were too much of a hindrance. The Gallen stood up, and was prepared for whatever was next, still keeping her animalistic and contradictingly calm demeanor about her and not saying another word. Or at least, not until the battle was truly over. Still bracing herself, she was ready just in case Yoshioka emerged from the smoke.

Emerging from the smoke was Yoshioka who was still smiling, who coughed up smoke as the explosion was stopped thanks to the application of Spring, with her turning this ball of explosion into a basketball, with it suspended in animation as she held it- bouncing up and down.

"Hehe..." she looked at the bounce, "Sleight of hand..." as she smiled, flicking the same explosion Taeka did back to her.

At the same time...

"So Purple Investiture works with controlling Gravity, yeah?"

"Yep" answerd Konoe, who would lift a large rock and fling it upwards.

"I mean, like, is there any calculation involved? Or was there any form of requirement?" Yoshioka asked, touching the falling rock on top of her head and making it bounce.

"Ehhh, not much. You just can do it, similar to how you just know how to do stuff instinctively. Of course, there'd still be training, given my mom [Tiamat] would have many sparring lessons with me...."

"No wonder why you're so ruthless when we first met..."

And both laughed.

She was grasping the air to also grasp the "space" given the way Spring would turn "air" into Spring. As the distance could be controlled by "pulling" of the spring and how "Compression" would squish the air for later release...
Still bracing herself, she was ready just in case Yoshioka emerged from the smoke.
[Spring: Azure Spring]

By not just "pulling" nor "compressing" and letting the Spring stretch and let itself "contract", the very space would be pulled towards an attraction, with it pushing the very ground- some of the rocks and Taeka backward- before being forwards from the Spring being retracted- and attracting everything around the center of contraction created from the air becoming Spring.

Because of this, "the explosion that became a Spring" would be brought towards Taeka point-blank, with Yoshioka making a finger gun.

[Spring: Carmine Autumn]

An inverse of compression is repulsion, thereby making the opposite and making an explosion using the force of compressed Spring to release the explosion.

Taeka would not hesitate to charge forward, slicing through the compressed explosion ball she created, bouncing rocket bullets off the ground that would strike some of the stray ones. Even with rubbery arms, she felt as though this was something she could adjust to.

Slinging a rubbery arm back to its limit, she leaned forward, catapulting it toward Yoshioka regardless of the explosion, while her other hand gripped the blade she had. Taeka swallowed again, slightly rejuvenating her hand.

The Gallen then swiftly hurled the sword toward Yoshioka, something she was expecting the Godspeed to counter. However, this was yet another usage of the blade being the "assistant" to her next trick. Catapulting herself toward Yoshioka with her elastic arms, as she continued to hone her mental focus and the adrenaline was in full effect. Her arms would stretch at close range, bringing her fist forward in an onslaught of blows delivered to Yoshioka's body, again striking pressure points, her windpipe, and her solar plexus. In fact, it even looked like in this gatling barrage that the Gallen had multiple arms.

This rubberization of her arms, however long it would last, would be used with peak efficiency by Taeka.

Complimenting her adrenal boost, the elasticity of her arms increased her blood flow, pumping the blood with more efficiency and bolstering the same process throughout her whole body, carrying oxygen and various nutrients throughout it.

This would probably kill her, especially combined with the fatigue from the end of an adrenaline rush and the extra strain it put on a heart that had not fully healed yet. But even if it would kill the Gallen, she would bolster the strength to survive regardless.

Combined with rocket bullets in her shoes, she darted off, retrieving her sword before swiftly darting around Yoshioka from all angles, striking her body and using the newfound elasticity of her arms to bolster the speed of her swings as she maneuvered around the Godspeed.

"One mistake." making a tsk tsk noise, as Taeka's elasticity made her body elongate, Yoshioka's snap would make it disabled, turning said elastic limbs to stiff arms as the swings would become easier to dodge as the onslaught would be stopped, though still be hit, causing her to be knocked back.

As retaliation, the Godspeed punched one of her long arms with a Glass limb she hid amongst the attack, its bones about to crack as Taeka's body returned to normal. As for the momentum she used when having her arms Spring-fied...

[Release]

Would cause said forces to backfire and use the power of the rubberization against her.

"Though, a clever move nonetheless..." smiling before backing away, using this opportunity.

[Spring: Azure Spring], [Spring- Inverse: Carmine Autumn]

When repulsion and compression collide, a crushing force would be born. Inspired by the essence of push and pull, applying both into a single equation wasn't out of the realm of possibilities. As the concepts were already applicable with Spring's [Compression] mechanic, tweaking it would be easier than before.

Rushing forth from the birth these two Springs would fuse, Yoshioka had to make sure this was the deciding move. Making a hand sign, many limbs would hold off Taeka- even if temporarily- securing her in place for this one attack.

[Orchid Fall]

As the release of the technique, the mass of compulsion and contraction would be sent toward Taeka far faster than the beam of ice Yoshioka fired way earlier, crushing the very ground as a giant ball of destruction would rush forth.

Rex was visibly worried, if Taeka didn't dodge that attack, it could end up crushing her to death, he swallowed something else while waiting for Taeka to escape the attack, otherwise he would have to act, he didn't want Yoshi to kill someone by mistake.

As Taeka had made all of her moves previously, her bullets had ricocheted, getting lightly lodged into her arms and legs, hands and feet, and even in her back.

She swiftly guzzled more of the elixir she had, spinning around with her gun and sword. Bullets rained and her blade cut deep, making quick work of the incoming limbs. It was if with each passing second, Taeka was getting closer to death. On the contrary, it appeared as though she was getting better all around as she got closer to an untimely end.

Immediately, explosions and rockets went off as the ball hurled toward her. It was clear to see there was nothing left over there.

Yoshioka was the victor.

Or so it would seem. The sensation of high-speed movement would pass the Godspeed as a cut appeared along the side of her body.

Somehow, it was Taeka.

The thrust from all the bullets had greatly amplified the speed of her traversal, enabling her to get out of the way. And perhaps, as long as they possess sufficient speed and thrust, she may even be faster than Yoshioka at this moment.

Maneuvering around the Godspeed, she made sure not a second of that fuel time from her rocket bullets were wasted, firing out barrages of physical strikes and leaving incisions from all directions with no regard of mercy in her mind. Even her physical strikes and motions were faster from the propulsion behind them.

The cut would would be shortly healed and dealt with by using Spring to make the area that was cut shaped to minimize the blow, with Yoshioka still retaining her smile.

Which was true, given Yoshioka wasn't moving a lot during the scuffle. In her thoughts, saving up stamina was the right calculation, as the concluding analysis would end with two possible things:
1. Taeka gets knocked out and she wins. Or...

The second— the awakening of an Investiture!

The purposes of this training wasn't just for her to know about close-quarter-combat, but to also improve upon existing abilities that she overlooked prior to her fight with Tiamat, and the fact that this Gallen could very well be a powerful asset once she awakens the possible Red Color.

"So the gun and the sword was the earlier reason for propulsion, similar to the application of Spring, huh? " she asked herself, turning the very air Taeka's punching into Spring— sending her back. "You've given so many ideas with my ability, Taeka..."

The Godspeed would create several motors— ones similar to an airplane engine, alongside making her legs spring-ier, and finally a gun barrel on each her forearm.

"Now, it's my turn. Thanks a lot..."

Applying the same logic the Gallen just did earlier, Yoshioka would mimic this motion and utilize the propulsion with the Glass and— with the added benefit of the pseudo-engines powering her movement— ran around Taeka, with the same notion of 'being faster' as she begins to pummel her with a barrage of punches and kicks— ones covered with Glass, then exploding right on impact, turning said damaged area into Spring— deactivating it at the same instance— and using the recoil to put more pressure in her blows.
