Noah created an ice barrier to protect herserlf and the old man who watched the fight.
Rex flared steel within, stoking it, raging it until his chest burned like the sun itself. He blasted against the soldiers behind him—throwing dozens of them backward—and streaked toward one of the big ones. He crashed against the Orc
The discarded ax clicked against the stones a few feet away. Rex gripped the orc by his neck as the two hit the ground; then he began to squeeze with muscles. The orc reached up, grabbing Rex's hands, desperately trying to force them apart.
Sasha was having a duel against two magicians simultaneously, if she lost concentration, one of the magicians could attack her and leave her incapacitated or worse, the Tengu woman had to have her defense high.
"Lady..." Konoe's eyes widened at the sight. She was supposed to be in the group the dragon lady should be leading. But, more than that, she (Lady Tiamat) shouldn't be here. Even if the possibility of the Lady needing the Time Blade was up in the air, there was just no way that it could happen.
She knew from when Lady Tiamat came here that they would never win...
Bodies of Deel, Xordenia, Jack, Rex, Noah, Aonbharr, and the rest were laid bare on the floor, blood splattered and statues broken. They were pictures of what the battle would've been- no, what the slaughter would become just from the thought of facing Lady Tiamat. She herself had witnessed it, all the time the Great Dragon Lady had displayed her power during their training.
What more could she ever have doubts in her mind? That's the main reason she followed Lady Tiamat- out of fear that she may have killed her whole family and out of the torture she went through to gain the power she possessed- the Purple Investiture.
There was simply no means of gaining an advantage. This was inevitable from the very beginning.
Or will it?
Even with the inevitability of loss, she had always prevailed with her teammates. No matter the odds. she had always found ways to win, to victory...
And now, she is a part of that group. Facing against her former master, now a rebel enlightened by the truths of this cruel world.
From the insides comes the outside, the witch's mana flared up with electricity and not the glow she was granted to her by those made of lies. It was the hope she was given, a second chance granted by her- one who is taking the lead...
...dodging the projectile as if she were dancing amongst the crowd.
Yoshioka Eimu...
The images of her near-dead comrades never contained Yoshioka within them, nor was the thought of it ever crossed her mind. Words could impact one's actions even amidst doubt and uncertainty. Helping build that broken bridge even with just a few phrases of courage and gratitude.
Even up until now, those were more important than ever...
"[Bunraku- Refined State: Chikamatsu Monzaemon]" Yoshioka began to cover the area in steam, before blowing away the bullets and magic projectiles away from her, taking on her stronger form crackling with electricity- something she'd want to use against the one that got away (The Lightsaber Warrior).
...Konoe's mind was filled with nothing...
...nothing but hope towards her dearest friend...
"Semper: Exelsius + Nun Lasst Uns Gott..."
A large magic circle would form around and surrounding Konoe, a barrier made as she starts to float and glow an aura of electricity. She closed her eyes as a single tear ran down her cheek, smiling from the moment she was given new friends, a new family, and a new life... all thanks to Yoshioka. That drop would fall and...

"FIAT LUX! (Let There Be Light!)" shouted Konoe as massive portals appeared from all over and began to rain down a volley of exploding plasma at lightspeed, each targetted towards the warrior and Lady Tiamat specifically, with some only causing indirect damage should they be near them.
The warrior recoiled from a magical attack that had been launched at him, but he turned around as he felt his surroundings tremble until he saw Konoe's attack. He raised his right hand because his left hand held his Lighsaber, he concentrated and attracted so much power to a point that a type of barrier crushed the attack until it was nullified with some difficulty in the enchantment that she casts on him.
Tiamat, for her part, literally ate Konoe's attack, she had spent so much time training that she was able to make her body able to take the chaotic core of magic and add it to her own.
At that, a bluish aura manifested on her body while she moved her hands and made an incantation,"
Issover"
in that she create 3 magical constructs, although they were unable to use her Investiture, the clones would take care of the groups, systematically, she herself go against the warrior, One clone go against Rassilon's troops, while another against the hooded team who were defending themselves as best they could from all the attacks and the last clone looked at the group, before jumping towards them at great speed.
At that, Yoshioka would feel how the air around her was moved with surprising power,
when something large that escaped her Precognition appeared behind her, even without that power, it was too big not to be able to see it before.
"I hope you are ready for the second round." The monstrous voice said before making the wind around her push her directly towards a stone pylon.
Aonbharr and Jack don’t go for the sword they can’t exactly use it to improve their odds of winning this fight and winning just means they get to decide who gets the sword before we leave, and that can be done more subtly with indirect methods. Jack turns invisible and waits for an opportunity to sneak up to the hooded figures.
Aonbharr walks up to a statue and attempts knock it down and cause a falling domino type chain.
"Careful" said one of the figures as he pushed his companion away from the statues that were falling like dominoes, his voice was young and masculine.
"Shit this is a Chaos." The other companions answered, a young female voice, before seeing how a duplicate of Tiamat approached them.
"Oh God." She said sarcastically as they both got into a fighting position.
In a blur as the glint of a blade flashes through droves of soldiers, blood splatters as Taeka cleans her weapon and makes her way to the next horde. If there was one thing she was good at, it was defeating soldiers like these.
Meanwhile, lightning flashed violently across the area, and the sound of roaring thunder masked the whispered curses that could only be heard by the most potent of hearing.
"...why...?"
Water filled the lungs of several of the soldiers, before expanding into serrated spikes of ice that ripped their bodies asunder.
"...why...?"
Lighting struck the armored soldiers in a consecutive surge of electricity that would fry those inside of the conductive armor.
"...why...?!"
The hero for hire was going all out, almost drastically more that what was necessary. He was exerting, or rather, overexerting himself in a concentrated and channeled rage. However, beneath the immediate and more blatant carnage he was causing with his powers, there was something else...
It didn't seem like this was a rage he imagined utilizing on his team, even the ones he despised most. Its target was more... personal.
He saw glimpses of it, which only made him feel even more rage.
"...How...?!"
The question in his mind had shifted from disbelief to fury and confusion. The thunder went from loud to deafening, the lightning from bright to blinding.
Wasn't he going to overtax himself at some point?
Unless...
Was that the point?
Was Zebedee Galewind's erratic display of abilities nothing more than frustration and a sense of punishing himself for failing?
"Let me take it from here..." His voice echoed through the thunder he created, "You shouldn't have to fix my mistake..."
At that, an ax would go for Taeka´s head as a
Minotaro went like a berserker towards the girl.
Zebedee at that would feel a chill, behind him a knife floated to stab his back, courtesy of one of his enemies, a ghost.
Xordenia would spit several hairballs at several enemies and makes them tighten around their, blocking the eyes and hurting on the skulls by how tight they get
In that large and powerful bullets would go towards the cat girl, provided by the altered Soldiers of Rassilon who emerged from Griven's tests with a failure that turned them into half-machine-half-flesh monsters.
He tells her to stop after a while and when the archers were firing the arrows, he takes a deep breath and focuses his eyes to shoot his beams at all of them to destroys them, followed by shooting electrical bolts at the archers to electrocute them
"Now im back at my peak...."
Deel would be greeted by the punch to his stomach from a duplicate of Tiamat that appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye.
Seeing Deel in trouble, Noah went to help him.
