Yes, it happend before, they don't want humans reaching a ''superhuman tier'', but eventually, humans will reach it again, and then, the requisit to baseline 9-B will be literally this:

Like I said, the punch and the articles and the whole 96 horsepower is most likely marketing hype bullshit and not meant to be taken seriously.

Also in terms of AP there is no such naming standard that uses "Peak Human" as a term, so if a human could demonstrably ram through a wall effortlessly with no injury, it'd be fine to put them at Wall level. Street level is named aptly due to the term "streetfighting".
 
Doubt it, first off, you're not supposed to use the entire fist's surface area, you're only supposed to take into account the frontal impact area. This would be calculated using the total width of your fingers and your fist's height from thumb to top of knuckle.

Second, the 160K value was from Joe Rogan's kick, the 129K value is from Ngannou's punch.

Third, in that exact article it states that Ngannou's punch is the same as a Ford Escort ramming you at top speed.

The Escort RS Cosworth has a top speed of 144 mph while also being heavier than the normal Escort models in America (Cosworth model is 1275 kg), 144 mph is 64.3738 m/s.

0.5*1275*64.3738^2= 2641791.1556055 J (Wall level)

Now, taking into fist impact area, mine is around 64 cm^2 (8 cm wide and 8 cm tall). That's 0.064 m^2.

2641791*0.0064= 16907.4624 J (Wall level)

This is unfortunately not accurate enough because 1. I am a pretty small guy compared to Ngannou (Me being 1.76 m tall while he is a big, burly 1.93 m tall), and 2. his glove would likely add extra surface area.
how do you even get the strong?
 
If that isn't enough, lemme use another method.

In a car crash where you don't get rammed into a wall where a car would come to a complete stop turning itself into a crumpled heap by that kinda force, but instead you get shot into the air flying, we have a way of figuring your KE when you get sent flying.

Speed of the dude getting launched (Thanks to Kaltias for the formula): (Mass of the car in kg x Initial Speed on impact in meter per second) / (Mass of the person getting roadkill in kg + Mass of the car in kg), then once you figure out the speed, just drop it into the classical KE formula and use your mass instead of the car's.

A 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 has a curb weight of 1124 kg and a top speed of 127 mph or 56.7741 m/s. Average human weight is 62 kg.

Speed: (1124 * 56.7741) / (62 + 1124)= 53.8061453626 m/s for the human getting whacked

KE: 0.5*62*53.8061453626^2= 89748.1396422 J (Wall level)

Now, since KE standards works IRL, we can use energy to derive speed in this case.

Ngannou is 119.3 kg IRL. Arm mass is 5.77% of body weight, so 6.88361 kg.

Velocity = √(KE/(0.5*mass))

Velocity = √(89748.1396422/(0.5*6.88361)) = 161.48 m/s (Subsonic)

I don't have to tell you why that kinda speed would be insanely unrealistic for a big guy like Ngannou to even pull off. Fastest punch is 44 mph by Keith Liddel.

It'd be even more ridiculous to scale the car's full KE to Ngannou's punch.

0.5 * 1124 * 56.7741^2= 1811493.71812 J

Ngannou would have to punch with a speed of 725.47973482219 m/s, or Mach 2.115 (Supersonic), to get the car's full KE into his arm.

Their body is still anatomically human tho. For example, Neanderthals had greater natural muscle/bone density and lung capacity than Homo Sapiens, making them way tankier and considerably better athletes in just about anything that wasn't swimming, but were still undeniably human
 
For example a dude with everyday extremely hard body training, immensely good genes et cetera. Was there any known human like that already?

Doesn't really matter how far it can go, because a peak Neanderthal would go further and still be human, so a modern human ain't hitting that limit unless genetically modified to be a hybrid of multiple human species/modified to have their physical attributes such as tissue density increased to parameters beyond what can naturally be achieved today, which wasn't really discussed in our reply chain iirc

U know, the world have almost 8 billions humans. maybe one of them is 9-B, in the same way that we can't just assume that only our planet have life, as there are several others planets in the universe
