Yeah, we see Ukitake sitting there looking at those very mountains in the Fullbringer arc as well. I think there are also some vast forests near the 13th Division's barracks, and a lake.

The 9th Division's barracks also have mountains and vast forests.

I've been meaning to make a blog post for a while collecting all the evidence for Seireitei's size being >100 km

I truly think Kubo is simply inconsistent/unable to properly draw scale of such a big thing, because he's included way too many statements and panels in the manga and novels for Seireitei to actually just be city-sized.

After the white covering broke away on his bankai it looked exactly like his old Shikai.

1. Gran Rey Cero from True Shikai + Merged Hollow Form

2. Bankai - snuck up from behind him while his was under Kyoka Suigetsu, stabbed him, fired off a Getsuga Tenshou.

3. Bisected de-powered Yhach with "true" Bankai.

tbh the way power is set up in Bleach its a verse like HXH where you kinda set the limit on your hax or power. Someone like Ichigo isnt gonna ever have strong hax because his only power he can use is Soul reaper power Qunicy which neither one gives him any hax besides energy absorbtion i guess. Ichigo is another Luffy tbh, well luffy is a Rubberman thats his hax and his haki

Kubo could have given Ichigo a shchrift and Vollstandig and a featlfull banaki but instead we get a fodder version which only uses blut once.

Honestly, Side characters have long surpassed him in abilities and pretty much everything.
