How is the Soul King stabilising the Soul Society?

soul king is what allows soul society to work the way it does so without him things will be distorted and the world will colapse , about him stabalizing flow of souls i believe they arent implying that he controls the balance of the soul but rather he is what is allowing that system to exist, if that makes sense

Yhwach attacked Hueco Mundo way before Soul Society, if anything he's weaker than he fought Zaraki and we don't know how strong Halibel got after the timeskip Or any of the Arrancars aside from maybe Grimmjow since he one shotted Quilge but got negged later by Post Auschwalen Askin

Yhwach is superior to all stern ritter, so...
