Yup. There's in-story and outside support of the fact that DF abilities don't belong to the DF, the DF is just a means of containing the ability.

That's like saying characters resistant to chakra generated fire can only resist fire that's from CHAKRA specifically, or other verses energy systems creating elements (like Bleach characters creating lightning or ice) can only resist each other's elements and effects.

There is also statements saying they are natural elements and has also been shown interacting with natural Elements as their own

I'm not sure with bleach and naruto tho...

What's funny is that Law's space manip could work on Doflamingo too, who is by all means far stronger than Law in terms of power and Haki.
The fact that his ability didn't work on Kaido and Linlin just means they're THAT MUCH stronger, since Law's fruit works on both those who are equal and stronger.
It isn't that his space manip is weak, it's that they're just that strong.

There is no catch. Is just the truth. Respira doesn’t work against spatial attacks. That is canon. I just didn’t know about it.

Doffy resists the cuts, but Law teleported Doffy when he was about to kill Sanji.
And switched Doffy out with himself during the Red Hawk. So doffy can't resist the displacement.. Which means the teleportation is likely a higher degree of space manip then the cuts?

Or it could just mean he wasn't using haki...

Because in the scan where he catches the sword with armament he was bleeding but it's still kinda unknown

Maybe. In both instances he was off guard to Law, so I guess that counts. Just shows the difference between his on guard Haki and Yonko's passive presence.

It's not because if spatial manipulation, it's because Zaraki's Reiatsu was just that much higher than Barragan. Just like his explanation to Ichigo about stronger Reiatsu vs weaker Reiatsu and Aizen saying he could crush out weaker abilities. Even in the FKT Arc, Kenpachi was already stronger than Yammy who's confirmed stronger than Barragan

Kenpachi didn't have spatial manip in the form of integrating into his attacks or any Zanpakuto abilities back then. He could affect the Garganta, but this isn't an offensive ability unless we give everyone who fought a battle ready Kenpachi and was in his presence after that point resistance to spatial manip and deconstruction
