BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Ngl that statement is one of the best in Shonen manga
Mastering completely 8000 different style is beyond any humans Capabilities
Like just the time that require, you need to have a long lifespan to do so
I'm planning on giving Ichigo, Kenny, Unohana, and Yamaji EG in combat for that at some point, because in no way is that shit reasonable for a genius. Also because of Yhwach being a skill composite

That right there is the reason why it's an "eventually" and not an "immediately"

Yeah, Yhwach said that only an hybrid can break the seal
But it’s strange given, he literally break it by himself.
Yhwach says that only a hybrid could destroy the seal COMPLETELY. Another point to consider, what Yhwach says when Ichigo is trying to pull out the sword stuck in the Soul King: "Pull it out... you should be able to do it" (something like that), could actually imply that he (Yhwach) would not be able to pull the sword out.

Guys, Ichibei said he was resurrected, but his powers had not come back yet. This was an obvious lie. When Ichibei gives his sinister speech on Yhwach we can see Ichibei’s zanpakutou I released in Shikai mode. He lied.

I was thinking of a Yhwach matchup (for when he becomes 2-C), and there's a character who can kill all past, present, and future versions of the target, as well as all versions of them across every parallel or divergent world simultaneously. I wondered if that could kill Yhwach, but then I remembered this panel. Yhwach rewrites a future in which he has already died to resurrect himself. Does that mean he could bypass this? And if the past aspect is an issue, would Soul King Yhwach with Aca 4 be able to handle it?
Yhwach's ability to rewrite the future actually stems from Almighty's ability to see infinite possible futures, and anything is possible in infinite possibilities. Even if Yhwach dies in a possible future, there is always a future in which Yhwach does not die, and by choosing that future, Yhwach rewrites the future. So if the opponent kills Yhwach throughout an entire space-time continuum, Yhwach cannot come back from it.

The benefit of acausality type 4 now only extends as far as feats indicate. Therefore, Soul King Yhwach would only be resistant to pregocnition, similar to Mimihagi.
On another note, what type of immortality should the Soul King have, considering he can't die unless he's killed by a Soul King candidate? Type 5 seems too op and doesn’t quite fit, but I can't think of any other option, does type 8 fit?. It doesn’t seem to be just invulnerability, as Yhwach can pierce him; he just can't die.
Unless an explanation is given as to why the Soul King cannot be killed by anyone, this is very vague for any type of immortality.

If you want, I can explain it in more detail with examples.

Idk how many times this has been explained but Yhwach doesn "choose a future" among the possibilities, he straight out rewrites it.
He broke ichigo's bankai in every future, which is why they were unable to restore it.
ichigo's bankai breaking in every future is not "choosing a possible future".

Q: It seems that Harribel held Starrk in high regard due to him having a good relationship with his subordinate, but what did she think of Grimmjow's Fraccions, who also did not have any particular hierarchical sense among themselves? Since they were a group of violent delinquents I wouldn't think she had a good impression of them, or maybe she appreciated the fact that even after having become Arrancars their relationships had stayed unchanged?
Kubo: She doesn't like them, but does have appreciation for them.
Grimmjow's team was the one where despite everyone being closest to each other, it was still properly kept in place.
Well, that's largely thanks to Shawlong though.

Q: What's the difference between Shunpo and Sonido? I'm especially curious about Sonido as it possesses the special characteristic that allows one to slip through perception senses.
Kubo: Shunpo is mainly done through training the physical body, Hirenkyaku is done by training the ability to manipulate reishi, while Sonido is executed by converting the Reishi within the body into "something that is not Reishi".

Q: Sensei! Did Captain Hirako & Co wear boxers while in the Living World? Or was it briefs? Or trunks?
Kubo: Hirako is a fashionable lad, so he can wear any type of underwear so that it matches his clothes.

Hirako 1-A for wearing matching underwear.

Eye of Agate? Just how Soul King Adnyeus was mentioned. Are Agate and Adnyeus maybe the two fish (brothers) mentioned in Howls From the Jaws of Hell Arc chapter? What if the Narrator himself is the father of both of this beings? Meaning Agate could be the Hell villain or could it be referring to Aizen's third eye in the fourth head? Or perphaps both?

Shiva eye of agate, also known as Shiva's eye or Pacific cat's eye, is a gemstone that symbolizes the third eye of the Hindu deity Lord Shiva. The stone's natural spiral pattern resembles an eye, and it's believed to represent wisdom, intuition, and protection.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says Eye of ofagate, tongu tongue of gold, agate skull cup, coffin of Adnyeus. Soul King Adnyeus saw it all.

Or perphaps the Almighty eyes "origin" as they resemble the type of gemstone called agate, so the Eyes of gate? Does that mean the Soul King's tongue was of Gold? Hmm.

Sounds like Agate is more in reference to the enlightenment of Reio along with the knowledge he obtains with his special eye. But who knows 🤷‍♂️

You might be onto sumn since when Aizen opened his third eye, the databook states he transitioned from a god to a devil.
Yep, I put those two together and was starting to update the post when you commented. lol

"According to Yhwach, the son of Adnyeus, this "eternal world" had no concept of death.[2] At some point, the realm was threatened by a "darkness" until that was repelled by Adnyeus' power." Bleach wiki
From the new episode, do you think the anime will retcon the novels? And have this "Darkness" as the villain for Hell manga Arc?

I believe since it’s implied Reio’s creation of the current universe put the lid on Hell, which existed prior to the current world. Sooooooo give us more chapters Kubo lol

Give us the return of Yhwach to fight Hell
I would rather have the Espada in Hell split Yhwach's power (Aka like his dad) and obtained a power boost from it and all of them have clairvoyance to fight against. Similar to how Syzl new form resemble Yhwach/Mimihagi darkness.

The bleach wiki mods be happy af if that happen, since they always thought novels are something Kubo doesn’t care about for his own manga

I thought the anime retcon the novels? AIzen didn't had his eye unsealed by Azashiro?

Adyneous's wife and Yhwach's mother...

...The "Queen" ruler of Reverse London.

"A name that blends Gnostic or mythological roots with Japanese phonetics could be something like Sophyra (ソフィラ, Sofira). This is a blend of "Sophia," the Gnostic figure of divine wisdom, with a Japanese-sounding twist, which feels natural alongside "Yhwach" and "Adyneous." If her origin is from the Primordial Sea, a name like Thalassia (タラシア, Tarashia) could work. It takes inspiration from the Greek word "Thalassa" for sea, but with a more fluid Japanese-style twist." - Chat GpT
