Baki soul manipulation CRT

My points were that the displayed scans of souls leaving the body were simply part of a trope. Said trope being the soul leaving the body after being hit really hard on the head. It is in no way meant to be taken literally and is just a gag at best.

In the case of Yujiro, he literally just killed a man. In what context would the soul leaving the body be interpreted as Yujiro having soul manipulation? The man died. What else was his soul supposed to do?

And like, to reaffirm my points above, the medium being able to channel Musashi's soul into his body was laughed at by the scientists that reconstructed said body. The narrative has not once, never, shown any Baki character to have any outwardly supernatural power that was not vaguely rooted in science. Not before the medium. If you want to argue that Nomu can purify the land, sure, I'll give you that. But even that was never expanded upon or detailed enough to prove that Nomu has actual supernatural ability within the context of Baki. Given all that I have said above, how believable is it that Baki would have legitimate soul manipulation over the scan being just a visual metaphor?

Yeah a gag. Grappler Baki the gag manga in which fighters fight with wacky 4th wall breaking powers. You see how this is dumb? Your actually appling cartoon tropes to a battle manga that takes it self serious even with the goofy moments. Is the imaginary prey mantis a gag because it’s not possible in real life? You see with I mean? Also Stop being disingenuous, literally all the souls in those tropes are after the characters are dead and they magically fly away with a harp and wings. the scans here are literally showing them being hit then thee souls coming out.

So the manga literally tells us his soul was removed. If it’s said “ the guy died lol” and his Spirit isn’t flying away then your point would have some Merit. But both of those thing happen and are said. Yujiro was the cause of it. And again his souls manipulation is just one of all the other characters. I really don’t know why you guys Focus on the Yujiro scan like it’s the biggest point of my crt.

Ok so I still don’t know if you read the manga or not now. So like Baki Reviving himself twice was definitely not rooted in science. Yujiro dad literally coming back to life to shit talk his son and give Baki a pep talk was very not much rooted in science. Also thank you for proving that Baki characters have more supernatural powers, Nomi can purify evil from the land with his attacks so there’s another one. And again it’s not a visual metaphor either like I said in the op. Like the ability to removes souls exist and the souls are drawn the same way as always. Also what’s the metaphor for Katsumi kicking the rikishi soul, how about Doppo fight what the metaphor there. This is a dumb point

Okay. Would somebody be willing to write a single post that explains everything that needs to be evaluated here in an easy to understand manner please? After that has been done, I can summon all of the staff members who responded here earlier to evaluate it.
Literally none of my points have ever changed during the OP. There all there and again very obvious. I like to thing it’s because it’s in Baki which the series itself is silly and people are just not used to shit like this.

@Damage3245 @Phoenks @Zaratthustra @KingTempest @Armorchompy

Would you be willing to help evaluate this please?

Sadly I have to go to work so my Responses for this thread won’t be that much. Y’all please don’t like argue points when I’m gone and then close the thread😭
No problem. We can wait.

I've already mentioned I'm neutral towards application however I have to disagree with the soul stuff being a "gag" or a visual metaphor, it doesn't seem to be done in particularly goofy context (Well, by Baki standards) and while I could see the argument just based off the original scans, Baki's soul being shown to be a real thing that he experiences existing as while being temporarily disembodied kind of hard-counters that, I don't see how you could take that as not even a bit literal.

It’s not even just that, his points about Baki being rooted in science is just flat out incorrect and make me question if he even reads the manga. What’s hilarious is that Oven is placing an important on the science in Baki despite that not being able to bring back musashi. It was the supernatural character that was able to bring him back from the afterlife into the mortal world. How does that explain yuichiro hanma literally coming back as a ghost in front of everyone is somehow grounded in science.

I agree FRA, really there is nothing that proves that's a trope, its kinda dumb to argument that to be honest, all those soul stuff happend in fighting scenes, which yujiro one being the only casual one, also Infera28 just reforced even more that supernatural stuff in baki isn't a trope, so i fail to see why it shouldn't be accepted.

limited Astral projection fits more than soul manipulation.
Again we already stated why it’s not Astral project. Look early in the thread.

Like guys I really don’t even know why this is open and not accepted. Like sure people need to accept the crt but it’s so obviously simple. Yet people are trying to spin it as not being the case, and the “debunks” and “counter arguments” are embarrassingly bad.

Astral Projection is flat out wrong, that's what you'd use to manipulate and move around your very soul / mind. Although Baki should get both abilities since he can manipulate his own soul to ress himself and also has Soul Ejection.

Astral Projection is essentially the finer tuned version of soul Manipulation on one's self.

May I see a scan where Baki manipulates his own soul and ress himself?

Arguably because the soul doesn't exist IRL.
This is fiction, not IRL. Either way, in many religious books, the soul exists but had less information. It is just hard to prove if the soul really exists or not. But in many cases, there was a situation where scientists just assumed that soul exists.

I do not think this is the place to argue the existence of the soul. 💀

Baki has a clear difference between astral projection and soul manipulation
It sounds to me more like not accepting death, you can still be alive if your pulse is stopped and your soul is still there. But whatever, I am neutral if it is soul manipulation

he mentioned IRL, not me. I was clarifying him only.

His soul quite literally left his body, friend. He died, and then revived himself. I don't think it gets more clear-cut.

It also happen in his Yujiro fight we’re Baki body was dead and yet his soul revived him. So no this is consistent.

Also no? If you’re pulse stops irl for a while your dead. Baki literally revives in full fighting Capability.

No? He clearly did not accept the death. That's all. As I said, I am neutral if people here want to accept it as soul manipulation, for me, it is more like he was not accepting the death and as I mentioned before, you still can be alive if your pulse is stopped.

Okay? He didn't accept it yeah but he still died lmao. It didn't matter if he didn't accept it he clearly died anyway and then brought himself back to life. Him "not accepting death" is why he was brought back in the first place.

So how it is soul manipulation? It sounds more like reviving?

….

He died. Didn’t want to die. Then Revived himself beat Gaia.

what’s so hard to understand about that. Hell even on the shitty profiles it’s listed as Baki revived himself.
