Azur Lane Discussion Thread

We already have events for Sakura Empire and Eagle Union previously so i believe it would be Royal Navy, but i'm just guessing.
 
Azur Lane 3rd Anniversary is here, it's amazing that they have English subtitles for overseas Shikikan like us. The stream were pretty cool too and here is a recap:

- Beginning of the stream (2:00)

- Introduction (4:20)

- Stream schedule (5:24)

- Looking back on the past year, so many things happened (6:12)

- Annual Review where we got to know stats of Hiryuu Meta challenge numbers, Shipgirls that were oathed the most, etc (10:19)

- New furniture called Manjuu Frontier Town and Hammann got position as the tester (19:12)

- Port Contribution Awards with Le Malin as the host and Dunkerque as co-host. Funny how it turn into a comedy skit and i've enjoy it (20:00)

- Interview of Yostar staff for a break. All of them are very cool and wholesome people (26:30)

- Laffey's Band Performance (35:05). Niimi got alot of spotlight in this stream so much that i cries.

- New mini-event where player can get Isokaze skin for free (37:50)

- Brand new Bunny Girl skin for Reno, Ardent, North Caroline. It's L2D too so that's plus (38:10)

- Ark Royal got an retrofit. Hopefully this will tone down her lolicon-ness...... Nah who am i kidding she probably won't change anytime soon (40:45)

- New portrait frame for player, the Gunslinger's Glory, fit with the wild west themed furniture (41:00)

- A new mini-game consisting of Calf Roping (41:15)

- New gears skin box with wild west theme (41:38)

- Many mini-events including Reset Double Gem, New Memory for Hornet, Wishing Well construction, Furniture sets rerun, Maritime Escort (41:55)

- Upcoming major event: Microlayer Medley Rerun with 2 new shipgirls and 2 new skins (42:35)

- New SR destroyer, USS Ingraham of Allen M. Sumner-class (45:20)

- New submarine ship, USS Nautilus of Narwhal-class (45:40)

- They also got Bunny Girl skin as well (45:58 and 46:20)

- Abercrombie also got new L2D skin (46:35)

- Previous skins will make their appearance too (47:03)

- A video that shown the daily life of Yostar staff. They are very passion about their job, please take a moment to appreciate their work (47:55)

- Manjuu martial worship and sword fight between Legion and staff member (51:07)

- New merchandise which including limited 3rd Anniversary Exclusive Commemoration Box, Artbook, Oath Certificate, Oath Ring (54:37)

.........the only good thing about this is Fusou META, look like i'm wrong, they rerun Microlayer Medley instead of a new event, and September will be JP Anniversary, they will goes all out in JP Anniversary
 
So i'm working on the Sirens profile here. I haven't read much about old events before Inverted Orthant so i might have miss out something important. If anyone can help me then please bring them up, i would be appreciated.
 
Is this too soon for a Siren profile, also nuke that Alien life form out of that page, multiple evebt implied that Siren is, in fact created by Human in the future and they are possibly the second generation of Shipgirl

I think that META ships couldn't be detected by radar should be Resistance to Enhanced Senses and Information Analysis instead.

eh no, according to various event, Siren and META undetected by normal shipgirl because they have better technology, so i don't think it is count for resistance
 
Basically that, unless the Siren or META were intentionally hidding from shipgirl then it would account for stealth mastery. Shipgirl couldn't detect them because they got better technology.

Actually it is different but whatever. Also i changed it to Limited Resistance, cuz their "resistance" depend on technology, and also if someone have better tech their resistance is moot, thus should be limited rating. Sam with fear inducement, for Hiryuu META, she only make commander feel fear, nothing prove shipgirl also feel fear mean she can only do this to someone way weaker than her

That isn't how resistance work. If they outright resist it then it isn't limited by any means, if someone overcome its via better technology then it just basic logic.

Ember was able to installed fear onto Zuikaku so it isn't limited. Hiryuu META wasn't in the mood to fight them so she doesn't use it fully.

1. They are not actually resist by any mean, just having a better technology, not an innate resistance, it can be overcome by better technology so it is the limit of the technology itself.
2. i don't think we scale that from Ember to Hiryuu, and still Ember was vastly stronger than Zui, make someone fear you because you stronger is really not that much, thus the limited of the abilities, if you want we can make a CRT for it
 
Having better technology mean they resist it unless proven otherwise. Many characters have resistance come from their armors, weapons, etc and it doesn't listed as Limited Resistance.

Both Ember and Hiryuu META demonstrated same ability on same level so they should scales. Making enemy fear you because of superior strength still count as one, doesn't matter what kind or how you do it because it is the whole definition of Fear Manip.
 
Hey Jame, i change Explosive Manipulation from Shipgirls profile to Explosive Armament. i realize that they are not actually manipulating explosion, they just can create thing that can explode on contact (torpedoes, dive bomb, etc...), thus it will be change to explosive armament for better wording in the future
 
Also Research should have two key Base and Fate Simulation, i think that Fate simulation did make them stronger in stats and upgrade their skill (some skill even have new abilities), thus it will need to key for future indexing so reader will not confuse Fate simulation skill with base skill
 
Fate Simulation upgrade PR shipgirl in similar way to how normal shipgirl are so i don't think another key are necessary.
