I believe Dragon wanted a rematch to happen between Asriel and alphamon for quite awhile, so just to be that guy, I'm Instead putting Full Power Asriel up against Death-X-mon. ovo
They both have power nullification, both are incorporeal, both have durability negation ((not mentioned on Asriel's page but literally every other monster in UT has it.)) One has Void manipulation and other has Existence erasure. I, have nothing really. Inconclusive?
In UT, a SOUL is different than a soul. A SOUL is the culmination of a being, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. SOUL magic negates the durability of all of them.In other words, if it is sentient and has a form, it has a SOUL, not necessarily a soul.
@Penguim Game mechanics. For VS debates, the consensus (for Sans) was that it is Soul Poison. Other monsters can hit you on those levels but they don't have durability negation in all of them.
I'm still lost. So is would it effect someone who lacks a Digicore in which encompasses Mind, Body and Soul? He also has a Resistance to Existence Erasure as well. I am still lost here.
Not in all of them, but to an extent, as explained on their profiles. Honestly, this question means more to me than the character fight. I couldn't give half a buttocks who won here. Asriel's considered the 2-A punching bag anyway.
@Dragon I think SOUL refers to body and soul (maybe mind as well though I don't remember a mention of that, it may be just my memory failing me). If someone lacks a Soul, SOUL magic will hit them on the Physical Level anyways. Possibly/Likely on the mind, too.
It's basically a "hits someone at every level" type of thing. It would affect him, but at this point idk if it would negate dura since he lacks the part where dura should be negated
SOUL magic attacks an individual as a whole, a single culmination including mind, body, and spirit. If the Digicore is the culmination of that and he doesn't have a Digicore, SOUL magic wouldn't effect him.
@Dragon Then SOUL magic will be moot or at least not effective enough to be a decisive factor, considering Dexmon is without a Soul, without a body and seems to be utterly non-corporeal. At best it will be like hitting a fighter with a club for Asriel, at worst it will be the same as hitting a ghost with a club.
Process F: Detects the opponent's Digicore and rips it out with its claws. (Note when attacking other characters, we count Digicore hax as soul based attacks only)
Process 0: Disassembles and deletes the opponent, appearing to smash them with its hand.
As well as being mostly resistant to SOUL based hax.
