There isn't any Metal Gear fight by the time you get it, in fact the only Metal Gears you fight in MGS4 are RAY, which you fight while controlling REX, and GEKKOS, which are pseudo-organic and possibly immune to them (idk if they are). That said as we've said before Snake is very pragmatic so I think he'd try it pretty fast.

Chaffs have huge AOE and are like instant tho.
Doll sends out a ******* g h o s t that can control and manipulate things with electrical charges, allowing basically body puppetry. Once the ghost makes contact it's instant and you use the doll like a marionette. But with octo+invisible camo combo, getting it off should be not that difficult, especially with a chaff tossed in there as well.

Not voting, but I will clarify as the biology for all Transformers (Cybertronians) is purely mechanical with being granted life by special items like the All Spark, the Creation Matrix, and a few other as it does varies from one continuity to another.
And I think their “blood” in this case is in the form of Energon and as such, I don’t recall cases of them actually bleeding out, but rather than the lack of energon is what weakens them, but I don’t recall them it outright kill them since usually war kills them.
Edit: There is the Spark in a chest of a Cybertronian. You target the spark and you can kill them that way.

That's what the chaff is for. Also no the dolls shoot a ghost out, it has a decent range on it, not huge, but like, tens of meters from the looks of how Mantis uses them.

No lol, Snake has no difficulty getting right behind hyper-trained supersoldiers with enhanced senses, Optimus isn't just gonna "hear footsteps"

Also yeah, that's over 50m, the Hangar is like 6-7 Rex's, and it's like 14m.
It's like a instant 70-80m AOE around Snake, actually, given the it works at the edge of the hanger, that'd be radius even.

Are you referring to the EMP effect of the chaff grenade?
If so, in one of the comics set in the Aligned continuity, there was a EMP pulse used by that version of Shockwave against the dinobots and as such, I do believe you are correct in saying it will been a effective counter to say the least.
