Should an ability that seals away one's power and abilities be listed as both sealing and power null? Or are they considered completely different things?
Something that was brought up here, I'm questioning the specifics of Regenerationn Negation.
We're all aware of the conventional Regen Neg, Character A hits Character B with an attack imbued with something to stop regen, or just attacks so hard the regen simply can't keep up. But what about...
Refer to the title. There's one thing about Power Nullification that I would like to get clarified to me please. And thats the extent of which it goes when nulling powers.
So say for instance, Character A has power nullification as an ability and is fighting against Character B, who is able to...
Hi, I have a question.
If a user has the ability to negate spells or magic in general, it would be considered Power Nullification and would not affect another user with this resistance, right?
I ask this because of a role play I'm doing and a player has a character with the ability to negate...
This CRT addresses a verse-wide upgrade in regards to how Skills (and only Skills, i.e. not Magic or Arts, etc.) work. This includes both WN and LN and should give all characters with Skills Resistance (or perhaps even conditional Immunity) to Power Nullification, Power Modification, Power...
It would be a No Limits Fallacy to assume someone with this ability can nullify anything that falls within the phenomena their powers are made to counter. It is to be assumed that any negation power has its limitations based on the strongest thing it has nullified, and a character may be...
Power Hijacking is the ability to make another user use their abilities (frequently including controlling how they use it). Examples include Silver Chariot Requiem and All For One.
Could a character with anti-magic use it to harm characters on a higher tier than themselves? And if so, what would it be classified as? HAX? Ignoring Durability?
I had talked with some of the Jojo debaters on here about this in the past, and I'm finally getting around to finally getting this over with.
One of the things that Heavy Weather does is power nullification, but not in the conventional way. Power Nullification is the best way to describe it...
Let's say there are two beings named X and Y. Both of these beings are Immortal beings that are not bound by Life and Death. X has a physical body which cannot die and will easily Heal and Regen itself in case of wounds and damages and has no soul at all but instead it uses A Powerful Logic as a...
We should only have one page for this, Power Nullification. Negation is literally the same, and I've seen nothing to differentiate them at all, they're used interchangeably and inconsistently, and Resistance Negation is just a type of Power Nullification that is also used inconsistently and...
Its surprising these never made it onto their pages but here are some abilities I see missing from the Espada pages:
Granz:
Voodoo/Represenative magic (Or equivilant, created dolls), Regenerationn (though eating his subordinates), and power negation.
Aaroniro:
Telepathy (Shared his death...
Well, a characters can't use his power in the future because he already exist in this future, They powers interactes and create a disrupting because they aren't supposed to exist at the same time
but after some times the characters can surpass this and use his power because....logic?
What is...
I've been thinking about what would happen between these two abilities. Let's say I put MCU Doctor Strange against Kratos and both of them have equal stats that doesn't make it a stomp. Strange has already used his astral projection ability prior to the fight and Kratos uses the Claws of Hades...
There's no separation between them and I have to look all over the page to find out which assassin owns this ability. Yes, there is a note after the link to the ability, but it would be much easier if it was separated into different keys/types of assasins.
Could Power Nullification be used not only again attacks but again hax as well?
Like at example could this power nullify hax such as Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Energy Manipulation, Biological Manipulation and Space-Time Manipulation?
So there is this thing that is quite common within the community and that is resistance is always applicable. So Reisistance to Power Nullification will always stop Power Nullification and Resistance to EE will always stop EE.
Note:Im gonna throw tiers out the window here. Everything i say will...
How would conventional (Real Life and even many fictional representations of viruses, bacteria, and plague) diseases fare against different levels of regen? Or do we usually count immune system strength as something separate and only apply resistances with characters who are explicitly stated to...
So I have experienced for the first time, the pains of a Yhwach match-up. Here I got introduced to Passive Power Null via Almighty. So I ask.
What are the limits to this power? When does this become NLF?
So Eldrad beat Abaddon, and would likely have finished him off if it was not for the intervention of the Chaos gods. Abaddon has that same blessing of khorne that kharn has, which means that ELdrad probably should have been nulled, especially since he's a psyker. However, in at least one...
if for example, a character can attack an opponent (who has PNull via presence) with a wave of Energy and is not affected by PNull, does the character have resistance to PNull or is it just his attacks that are not affected by PNull?
Should the Anti-Magic page be integrated into the Power Nullification page?
It seems to me as if Anti-Magic here is just Power Nullification restricted to magical abilities, or not?
How do we treat power null against much stronger foes? Will it work without feats, or do we consider it a NLF without the proper feats against foes far outside your power range?
When they fought with full power Asriel, frisk succeeded to move free via his determination:

That's why i think they should have: Resistance to power nullification (with immense amounts of Determination)
