As someone who has been staff on VSBW for quite some time, these amps would not remotely apply. First off, they are literally passive empowerments, as you yourself admit. One quite literally involves him holding a sword. Not only would passive empowerments already count towards his base tier...
I would like to say that this is a gross, frankly disappointing oversight and it is disturbing that such a mistake would come from one of our very own staff members. I suggest we ban Tllmbrg from making pages for inhuman creatures in perpetuity as a punitive measure.
Also, FRA.
…ah, wait, Dargoo made this joke already, didn’t he.
You don’t know how angry that made me, by the way. From the day I joined the wiki, I knew that I’d exit with a Hitchhiker’s Guide joke. Then Dargoo did it before me, clever little bastard.
Yeah, I’m leaving VSBW.
My first bits of input on...
No.
No, also he does not have these.
If he was facing a grizzly bear he would also be screwed. Not to mention the fact that dinosaurs are known for their tougher, more scaly skin regardless.
I literally wrote the stomp page, Agnaa. I know how it works. Walt is screwed. The existence of people...
No, Walt has not been in such a stressful situation as shooting a dinosaur. In fact, he has hardly ever used guns in active combat situations against other people. Even the gun that he does have is a smaller gun that wouldn't even be particularly threatening to a dinosaur and its hide. Walt...
In-character. You answered your own question.
A dinosaur is not being hurt badly by anything Walt has, Walt both isn't a great shot and isn't a great combatant, he will get torn to shreds.
I'm closing this for being a stomp in favor of the dinosaur. Be logical.
stop putting Walt against a dinosaur he's not a great shot, will get scared because he's fighting a literal dinosaur, and will literally get torn to shreds
Your blog is literally just fifty quotes of obtuse tiering statements attached to random fictional names. There's no narrative relevance, no story, nothing but the most cliche and overused tiering tropes meant to jumpstart a verse to be as strong as humanly possible. In no universe is that, or...
For further elaboration, it blatantly plagiarizes concepts from other verses and uses them as inspiration only for the sake of power, not to mention you have neglected to read the page for tier 1/0 rules entirely.
lol why is the dbd survivor in a tournament their entire job is to run the **** away
circle of healing doesn't even let her heal herself anymore
what is this match
When we have to debate the technicalities of which staff or ex-staff votes are valid in a staff vote, regardless of the strength of their points, you know we have a problem with staff votes.
I didn't say one month ban, I said one year. Furthermore, I also said I don't really care about two years or permanent, so long as we uphold those standards going forward.
I think it is disingenuous to use this entire debacle as a point without linking the follow-up, with multiple discord screenshots being taken out of context to incriminate him. It is only by Agnaa's fine eye that this was spotted, mind you.
If we are to handle Weekly's case, we need to handle...
If we continue to delve into this issue as a whole, across the board, then I will step back and let it happen.
We can't be entirely retroactive about it; hatred and anger breeds more hatred and anger, after all. I definitely know I've felt myself losing my cool and being increasingly irritable...
I can't really defend Weekly's behavior at this point. I just ask that we actually dedicate time to the root of the problem and maintain these higher standards going forward. If we are banning him for two years, then the least we can do is actually follow through with dealing with the bullshit...
I don't think we can promise that, Weekly. The "latter" is a massive knot of issues significantly bigger than just you. And, at the end of the day, you're an adult. I've warned you about this before; people are going to antagonize you, but if you last out faster and harder, I can't support you...
See, I agree with most of this. I think something should be done and I've always argued that we shouldn't be so flippant towards "borderline" behavior from users and staff alike.
Mind you, I said most of this. I will say that Weekly is not entirely a product of circumstance; he is still an...
To be blunt?
Probably.
I've always been an advocate that our wiki is ridiculously, incredibly lenient on so many different things. We've cultivated a culture where you are allowed to say anything you want, whenever you want so long as you are acutely passive-aggressive about it. It's so...
I've been asking the same thing, glad we could come to a consensus on that.
On a more serious note, chill out. Weekly asking if a thread can be removed after 4, possibly 5 staff votes isn't some egregious misstep. You're acting rather hostile over Weekly asking a question after a several days...
Since Bambu debates DDM's vote because it is leaning, can someone double check the other five?
Well, DMUA's only a calc guy, but he's knowledgeable on the verse (on Kirito's end) so I'd say that's a good call.
If it's true that four, five including DMUA, agree with the removal, then it should...
See that's how little I care about the matchup, I confused Jaune with that other chick.
And no, I am pretty familiar with ancient Japanese history. The katana was always a ceremonial item first, and a last resort weapon after. Largely because of spears.
Again, just check your sources and know...
Whatever research you're doing is wrong.
And yes, samurai used katana... as a last ditch weapon if everything else went wrong, because spears, bows, and later, guns, were always much better. And even then, they didn't always use katanas. Tachi were far more popular before the era of the...
What
A katana doesn't "beat" a broadsword. And, frankly, on the level of anime, the differences between the two are relatively inconsequential because the fighting styles don't leave them as pronounced.
None of this is true
Dear god I am going to die of a stroke from sheer historical...
Fair enough, comment stands otherwise. Was writing quickly on mobile so apologies for any confusion there.
I'd read my paper copy of Hellsing for clarification but I don't have it on me atm. Very sad.
The only reasoning I need is that they literally never exhibit a single feat even remotely close to higher tier 8, much less tier 7, physically.
This is from... what, a cloud feat? That shouldn't scale to his normal physicals at all. A cloud feat in Level 0, no less. Yeah, remove this. Easily.
Even with a majority, I'd prefer a more glaring majority before moving forward, in this case.
I'll be leaving this case for the time being. Handle it responsibly.
Edit: I am not sure how much credence Calc Group votes are given, but at that point I feel like we are picking at straws. I'd say...
