I don't think I mind Star level Deltarune that much, though I personally don't really buy it, but Star level Tenna is very, very weird

Though I don't think it changes the result all that much, since the decisive factor is speed, given that it is Rules Card vs Existence Erasure, and Tenna wins via Sealing rather than strength

The problem is Caine has shown on more than one occasion to be able to get around sealing

Plus Caine has speed feats that match or potentially surpass Tenna's, plus teleportation and paralysis inducement

The combination of the confusion of being forced into a BATTLE, better speed and duplication would stall Caine enough for Tenna to use the card.

Yeah, for as much as I like Caine, the video game logic in Deltarune kind of overrules any mechanics that Caine would have over the Digital Circus. The battle box in Deltarune is diegetic and functions like a kind of domain expansion within Deltarune’s universe itself.

Outside of special cases like Noelle in the Weird Route (a route where the player’s determination is powerful enough to literally break Deltarune’s rules, boundaries, and game logic), I frankly don’t see Caine doing a lot beyond playing along before Tenna whips out a card on him.

Just that I'm not much of a fan for both series, except maybe Ninjago since I watched it a little way back, so the animation is really what I care about the most, since it'll be very unique looking compared to what we usually get. So I'll be very letdown if it's not as good as it can be.

I'm basically saying I just like the animation potential this episode will have, rather than either character or series being shown here.

Im with Deltarune bias, but there is one interesting claim. Fan Battle mentions that QA revealed for TADC that Caine's deletion only sends stuff to void. This hugely changes a wincon into potential non-factor.

So if both of their AP high ends are wack nonos, Caine having AP and more abilities could still lose to Tenna if he is faster and Caine cant resist Act hax. Tenna win is at least somewhat plausible.
