DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

ye ngl I know little about either series, but something about the animation and result kinda rubbed me the wrong way. 5.5/10, only slightly higher than MetalCell IMHO.

Not sure what it is, something about the state of this season has made me... mentally check out. And oh look, we're back to more capeshit. Looks like I'll be waiting another episode...

Anyway, I've been looking for participants in my Pokemon Egg/Giftlocke series, so lmk if anyone is interested.

I never doubted if Yuji could or couldn't separate them, I'm saying those stats are bullshit.

It's funny I knew the moment they capped Yuji at Mach 900 was the moment he was screwed. CSM fans will be glazing DB now, lol.

Solid episode, enjoyed it well enough and can't wait to see the absolute shit show that is Sentry vs Superboy Prime.

Sorta. They're saying that Yoru's State sword is whatever Gigatons and Denji-man was able to match it's swings and overpower it. So even if the blade cuts him in half, his AP still scales to that rating.
 
Even If Yuji was stronger, the speed difference is so big, I really doubt he could Win anyway.


Also, skill being kinda useless category lol. Atleast they explained a little better how they tie in abilities. But not by much.

But his durability ******* doesn't and that's all that matters in this case once the Domain Expansion happens! Denji should have been dead right then and there!

The animation was a 9/10 even if I preferred if MORØ animated it, it was still amazing. Yuji’s analysis still felt somewhat lacking while Denji’s was as complete as it could get.


I lost $25 on a bet with my brother over this so I am kinda miffed. Went all in on Yuji but as Denji’s analysis went on I had a sinking feeling of “fffffffuuuuuuuck” when no relativistic scaling was brought up for Yuji and Denji’s scaling seemed to counter all of Yuji’s wincons. This is Blade VS Buffy all over again

THEY LITERRALY SHOW HIM BLOCKING THE ATTACKS AND PUSHING HER, EVEN WITH THAT SWORD.

I believe it was the transition to Shonen Jump+. He completely stopped drawing intro spreads like this and his art gradually declined. It was even better than Part 1 in early Part 2, but then over time it began to fall apart.

He is still good with those cover panels though and from time to time he'll shell out some neat panels.

Plus, Jump+ doesn't have covers and color pages to promote series, I think it's by choice when they're used? Or not, since I never see any other series on the site use color pages.
 
Also also, i am now SENSING that some people will start complaining that Denji got outside help by having Pochita with him, ala, Bruce and Hulk
