DBS: Destruction of Planet Vegeta, Frieza Upgrade

Occum's razor would suggest they are the same more than likely (Also pretty sure GT splits from Post-Buu Saga, which is tied to the main timeline anyways)
I don't have any say in the current debate but Occam's razor is an extremely flawed razor, I'd not use it.

Then, what are your proposals for planet vegeta's size?

Smaller than Earth? Same size as Earth? Larger than Earth? It's impossible to gauge its actual size without a size comparison; thus impossible to actually get a proper GBE for it.

Whether or not it can or can't be used, GT is still the only actual reference to Vegeta's size.

read the calc. We determined an appropriate size for it using what’s stated in the DBS anime and manga

The proposal from the OP is "Comparable to the size of the Super Dragon Balls which have a stated diameter".

The alternative to that is the default assumption for fictional Earth-like planets which is "Earth-size".

There are no other proposals for Planet Vegeta's size so far as I'm aware.

Too many assumptions for my liking and is a bit unknown on what is a "normal size planet", especially if Earth is considered to be "small".
Unfortunately due to our rules this simply isn't going to fly (Your suggestion of trying Toei stuff), so if you want to change that make a CRT that makes cosmologies across all continuities equal without running into contradictions.

So is the current result 2.4657256 Quettatons of TNT?
Presumably not cuz the Lorentz Factor method for calcing KE probably requires a staff discussion since it’s a big change that would affect many calcs this calc is just proposing (and got accepted for) 14 or so Quettatons

The Lorentz Factor is literally how we get relativistic KE to begin with though-

In this calc, whether or not we actually use relativistic KE is pretty negligible due to how small the Lorentz Factor is (I mean, you need to go about 50% SoL to actually have a pretty noticable change in KE.

i know that. You can’t relativistic KE without it but it has never been applied this way for omnidirectional planet busting feats to my knowledge. It’s gonna need a staff thread you could probably start one if you got permission

The discussion about applying it this way, though, would need its own thread. It's such a widespread change that it would be required
Okay...? Not like it'll change any relativistic KE calcs though; the Lorentz Factor is a part of relativistic KE.

The only part that would actually change these types of calcs, is the 1/12 mass thing. Otherwise, the calc would remain the exact same if you still use 1/2 mass.

It's still changing a sitewide policy, which would be derailing from this thread's purpose. Sorry to say, but that's where I'm putting an end to this discussion

yeah but that doesnt necessarily mean the planet sizes would be equivalent. Many planets in fact shown in Toeiverse dont even exist in the manga
Planets that weren't shown in manga doesn't mean that planets are of different sizes between universes, especially when the setting is the same, given that the verse runs on MWI, thus it's all just variants of the same universe. Would be pretty weird if Vegeta was massively different between universes, otherwise we'd be back to the "Universe 7 in GT is actually far bigger than DBS one" argument some people seriously had here.

Honestly i can see where you're coming from but the site is rather strict with cross-scaling everything so we just have to go with the safest middle ground. I do personally think that by portrayal and by its composition as an earth-like planet, planet vegeta should be massively larger though

Actually, the cosmology is the same between both, that's why BoG is 2-C in the 1st place.
Doesn't mean the events would follow the same way, or that the contents are the same, otherwise it would have Super Dragon Balls and Beerus too. And Pikkon. And all those other filler characters.

Nothing says the GT timeline hasn't Angels, Zeno or other DBS deities, just that they're simply never shown there.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Heroes, while not canon, do potray what I say, so it's how the authors interpret the lack of them in-verse.

manga frieza supernova growing weaker day by day, night by night. Toei frieza is probably spitting out his coffee in hell with cell and laughing with his high 4-Cb supernova
Nah this bumped him back to a respectable low 4-C. Anyway this should probably be accepted by this point I think

iirc, I think we have to do a blog that would update the multipliers and the tiers based on the newly accepted calc, and then do a crt to apply all of it.
I've done this for the Saiyan - Namek Saga

I wanted to post it at once once 48hrs were up here

Edit: the cell - Buu saga xters as well will have to be changed
