weren't there feats of some otsutsuki traveling through space and hagoromo hiding some polar particles in some constellation? wouldn't that be MFTL or are they not accepted?
no I mean like it has the same exact multipliers, just super saiyan and kaioken but it still reaches these ridiculous levels of speed plus the ssj2 and ssj3 multipliers dont seem to be accepted just like naruto

i'm sorry if that's how it came off. I'm just trying to see why speed scaling is treated so wildly different across verses.

Yes but it required heavy assumptions about timeframes and teleportation. Also travel speed doesn't automatically scale to combat speed.
This iirc was a misinterpretation. He hid them in a lake.
Kaioken is stated to increase speed. And Super saiyan is accepted as a speed multiplier. Best to ask in DBZ general thread as to why. Both of these powerups have nothing to do with Sage mode, KCM, SPSM, etc which do not have any multiplier statements at all. DBZ would be MFTL+ even without multipliers iirc.

You mentioned sextillion times ftl so I meant to say the DB verse would be MFTL+ even without the multipliers. DBZ specifically might not. But if you're wondering how the verse can scale to MFTL+ without multipliers then:

Only thing I can think of rn is the Hagoromo Storm game calc. That is the closest thing to DBS levels of speed, but even that would only scale to game Naruto if accepted because it is a game original story. Honestly the Naruto verse probably is way faster than light by now, but because the author refuses to give us feats and statements, we can't put a number on it.

ah, I see. I understand why some people find it shaky tbh i don't think this would scale to anyone else since this is specifically because of Hagoromo's size being larger than the universe. it seems to be a property of his size as opposed to power IMO

Probably not, unless Boruto has an insane power creep at it's end like Shippuden did. But I wouldn't recommend you have any hopes for that. Boruto has drastically scaled down fights and is focusing more on taijutsu. And even though they introduced aliens, they still keep the series Earthbound. It's more likely that it's gonna stay that way.

Kishimoto felt like the series strayed away from the ninja theme a bit too much by the end of Shippuden. That mixed with his weird obsession of making Ikemoto's job the easiest job in the manga industry. But the latter part is my opinion.

i mean tbf the first chapter of the series introduced us to a giant fox with 9 tails that can accidentally shatter mountains so idk if ninjas were a theme for the series to begin with

Well I should clarify, the storm Hagoromo profile is good on the surface because it’s a copy paste of Slayer’s masterpiece of a profile with like a few minor “copy my HW but don’t make it too obvious” changes. The storm Hagoromo profile on the other hand sucks cuz it’s a lazy attempt to get high tiered Naruto.
Realistically tho, with work and all, it would probably be years before I touched these profiles, and who knows maybe Wrath and Shadow will have fixed them by then.
