I'm not sure how that's meant to realistically beat him in a Death Battle. If any, Prime would make things worse for himself via bringing another powerhouse into the mix that's just as strong as Sentry but with different powers, resistances, but much more ruthless.
Could it be used to separate him from his merged self? Sure, I can see that but he'd be basically left with two Superman-level opponents double-teaming him so it doesn't exactly improve his situation.

They'll probably only do 682 vs Doomsday since at least the latter's actually gotten some new stuff like being able to reconstitute himself through subconscious memories of a collective, Time Trapper iteration notwithstanding.

It's no so different given prime has battle hordes of héroes and villians in the past regardless, and it's a actual proof that Sentry can be affected by prime own Retcon Punch.

Prime has actually been beaten by heroes who are arguably much weaker than him like the Marvel Family and the Teen Titans.
Hell, during the Sinestro Corps War, his armor was destroyed and all the heroes managed to wear him down to the point that he actually started to get hurt from the full assault.
Sentry, on the other hand, usually requires literal universe++ busters like Blue Marvel and Hulk to take him out and often he's holding back a lot of the time or unprepared for it. I've yet to see Sentry actually lose in a fight with other beings who're far weaker than him on every level because he's always seen as a one big "oh shit" moment whenever he makes an appearance in an event that he's involved in.

TBF Tooru was a DLC character (I think) for the rereleased JOJO fighting game a couple of years ago. So its not impossible non-manga people know him.
