Checking the schedule....... And probably not, at most some question and answer first day, chatting second day, and a Game of creating a charácter and they analising if your wins against the other fan, nothing more confirmed, probably at Best a trailer of the next time, but not sure of it.

So who do you guys have winning this? I've seen some back and forth, which primarily came down to whether Funny Valentine's speed scaled to pre-Part 6 JoJo, but with the recent Metal Gear speed buff I'm wondering if that even matters. Armstrong can scale to blade mode Raiden (I heard it's circular scaling though) which would put Armstrong's reactions at 500c, which I think is actually faster than JoJo.
Could be moot though, if Death Battle sticks to the speed they put DIO at, which was 1500c.

Probably Funny because of Love Train and the higher speed scaling? But Armstrong's much higher AP and AOE attacks could legit screw him over if Funny makes one wrong move.

As far as Death Battle goes, if Valentine gets cross scaling, he outstats Armstrong by their own calcs

Even if Armstrong is better then Valentine in stats, his ability to just use alt versions of him as meat shield which are infinite of them in the multiverse, just gives Armstrong no way to put him down for good and thats not even taking in account love train power
Valentine just needs to have an alt version Armstrong to paradox him to death

He shouldn't scale to blade mode, he looks frozen compared to its max, which is where 500c comes from; base scaling is fine tho which is 1/10 of blade mode, so 50c.

This is something I've been wondering about. Traditionally, Valentine has vastly superior reaction speed, but what about regular movement? In terms of AP, anything Armstrong does should pop Valentine like a balloon, regardless of where he gets hit. I'm pretty sure a shockwave is all it would take. This is important, because if Valentine doesn't open up with his win option(s), Armstrong's first move in both of his serious fights is to release a ranged lock-on attack that rushes down opponents. Like you said, he's also throwing out AOE shockwaves, instant lava bursts, timed lava bursts, and even lava walls that cut off opponent's movement options. Armstrong also loved to block Raiden's vision, either with lava or debris from the force of his attacks, and bulrush while he's obscured.
It's a lot of babble, it's just that I was replaying the game, and I never thought about how "smart" Armstrong is written to be in his boss fights. He probably can't adapt to an opponent he can't see, and yeah if Valentine is faster, I assume it's hax GG (I know nothing about Part 8, so I also don't know if Valentine can just negate all of the above attacks). However, Armstrong himself isn't just a brute, and will use any opening Funny gives him or try to create one, ranged and up close.
Unless you try to hit him while he's healing EDIT* (and miss that glowing green weakspot), then he frame-one catches the sword and bonks you.
If it was usable beyond the scaling issue and game mechanics explanation, you could probably say he's only that fast WHILE healing, but this is Death Battle. I have zero doubt they'll just flat scale him to those speeds, at least in a black box. Assuming they even buy massively FTL Metal Gear of course.

Probably Valentine? Armstrong is way physically stronger but he has no way to bypass Love Train. There's also nothing stopping Valentine from BFRing Armstrong or merging him with an alternative version of himself

Based on preview, they would need to give Sentry resistance to Retcon punch and argue smarts + breaking AntiMonitor armor for him to win.

Literally, if they Say Sentry has not proper resistance to the Retcon Punch, he screwed up, his Best chance were if he was capable of mess up with Prime mentally and destroy his soul... And get deconfirmed in the preview.
