I'm happy with L1C Dante.

He has the hax and speed to get into fights with anyone on Low 1-C to High 1-B

Even the AP when it comes to Low 1-C fights.

I still don't get how this episode would even work, like The Narrator isn't even interactable in the conventional sense. He's the narrator of a game, like how does Caine even interact?

Ryuji vs Joey

Although it is thematic my main problem with that matchup is that Joey literally has nothing. Like Joey is just a guy. He's not magic or anything, he's just a teen with decent luck. The only way the fight would even work is if it's in like Joey's Palace and Ryuji fights Shadow Joey but then that's not Ryuji vs Joey that's Ryuji vs a hypothetical shadow version of Joey who would exist inside of a Joey's hypothetical Palace.
Like at least with a character like Yugi his mind space is like an established thing, or someone like Jaiden has multiple souls which provides him with most of his "stuff" and could likely interact with stuff like that as a result, Joey's just a dude.

For me it's 2B vs XJ9.
Also I'm pretty sure Stella Blade 2 has a different protag than one so I don't think a new game is going to boost Stella Blade girl's chances.

Makes the most sense. Ryuji wouldn't be able to do much without taking someone into the Metaverse anyway, and while he at least has access to bring someone in with the Metaverse app that would need to happen for the fight to actually... well be a fight.
