The worst part of this matchup is that it's not just bad; it feels like a kick to the nuts for DB fans

What even is the point of spending years requesting a matchup and putting your all dedication just so the crew could see it....when a few-month-old MU becomes an episode because of the memes and Twitter?

The one time DB actually does a matchup to capitalize on the current popular thing (relatively speaking since these videos take 3 months to make) and it’s Bakugo vs Reze of all damn things. Meanwhile Godzilla fans are suffering after DB decides they don’t want to use the hype of any of the new movies to finally use Ghidorah.

While it's possible it will indeed end, i would like to remember that Part 2 was also a complete surprise and came unannounced, since the manga was officially over after the Makima arc.

Specially since last chapter was a pretty big plot twist that opened questions and would lead to a rushed ending if it ended immediately, as well as it being said Fujimoto no longer enjoyed drawing the manga and was having trouble meeting weekly quota. There's a fairly high chance this is just his way of getting some time to rest.
