But we do see Neo? Unless you mean Super Neo, then it'll probs appear. My theory is that when he transforms into Overlord, he "kills" Cell, but he comes back with a zenkai, then destroys Overlord, which then leads to him using Super Neo.

Oh okay, so my winner senses are tingling and they are HEAVILY favoring Cell. Metal's going into what's presumably his final state before Cell becomes Super Perfect.

I personally see it as Super Neo having been used way too recently for it to be the final state again, because while Metal Overlord has been used twice already, its last appearance was still 9 years ago
Yeah but I feel like his case is unique with the Green Door plus Banner actually being apart of the fight, and Ultima and stuff. It was hyped up that there was going to be a "never before seen" thing for the fight.

So it's an animation, it doesn't matter. Last time they used Metal in Bowsegg, he transformed into Neo using a Chaos Emerald, and I don't think that's how that works.

Other than the brief shot of Metal flying up to Cell as he throws the missiles (I think?) at him being a little floaty, everything else looks super clean. Really nice cinematography and lighting, and the Metal Overlord transformation looks super nice.

When he loses in Hero's, doesn't he revert back to Neo before going back to base? I can see doing something like having Metal go back to Neo after Cell beats Overlord, before having Metal use the Emeralds/Super Emerald to go Super.

Oh I didnt see that first clip had Cell fire beams from below. So maybe Cell Arena appears in intro as Egg Fleet approaches him and then he flies up.
They could use both MetalOverlord and SuperNeo, why not. Hell, I just had the dumbest idea to get Cell Max in. If they get Phantom Ruby to appear, Cell could steal it and use it to become Max as an illusion lol

Yeah, Metal loses his Neo form after being defeated as Metal Overlord.
But I could easily see after Cell defeats Metal Overlord, Metal Sonic gets depowered back to his base form.
Cell obliterates him, but thanks to Cell's bio-data: Metal is able regenerate and Zenkai boost himself back to Neo Metal Sonic form.

My prediction:
- Perfect Cell overwhelms Neo Metal Sonic, forcing him into Metal Overlord
- Metal Overlord overpowers Perfect Cell and blows him apart
- Cell then regenerates into Super Perfect with a huge Zenkai boost and does the Solar Kamehameha, blowing apart Metal Overlord and destroying the Solar System
- Neo Metal Sonic then locates the Master Emerald floating in nearby space, after it tanks the explosion, and turns Super
- Super Neo Metal Sonic then destroys Super Perfect Cell

It's a shame we're not getting base hue hue boy but ig starting with Neo Metal does make more sense. Metal Overlord looks sick.
I do think Super Neo Metal Sonic will show up but likely towards the end.
I'm predicting Cell will self destruct to kill Metal Overlord, leading both to turn into Super Perfect Cell and Super Neo Metal Sonic respectively.

This is a clear indication it's Toei, because Cell got bored of waiting and decided to join and doing filler shit.
