So I was watching Kratos vs Asura for ***** and giggles (I like watching random Death Battle episodes at least once a month), and there's something that really bugged me that makes me wonder if there's a lack of communication between the people who write the pre fight and post fight analysis and the people who write the fights themselves.
The thing that bugged me was how throughout most of Asura's analysis, they made it consistently clear that Asura doesn't let his rage consume him and is in control of it as he uses it to get stronger. But then in the fight, you have Kratos saying stupid shit like "You let your wrath consume you, I have been down that road before." And I don't know why, but that line actually irritates me because it contradicts what they were saying about Asura earlier. Plus, I didn't like how the fight made Asura fight like some mindless berserker when he's always been skilled even when punching shit.

They ****** up KratosAsura script and were too late to fix it ig. Asura analysis was fixed but it clashes now so lol

I think Kratos was just talking out of his ass ngl. Plus, Asura did have control over his wrath the whole fight up until... Berserker Asura came out. Like, he was flying up into the sky to take himself and Kratos away from Gaia (and most importantly Mithra) so thats good, but like, he's not supposed to be using that form at all. I get DA wanted to add as much fanservice for Asura, but the whole point of that form was that his wrath was too much for his body to handle, and the mantra reactor of the Karma Fortress fixed that. You quite literally cannot have both his Wrath and Destructor forms in one fight.

Also this is why I can never hate DAs work in the episode, because he was practically working with nothing for most of it trying to fix the fight. Hell, once they changed realms, the fight looked great even!
