There's arguments to made but base form wise even his current MFTL+ rating is imo stretching it a bit, there's like 12 games with anti feats against even baseline FTL lol. Surprisingly decent pool of relativistic feats tho

Wait, you think metal vs cell is NOT a pity win?

Because i am pretty sure it is. Most sonic fans insist on not giving Cell heroes or even GT scaling at all.
They want the universal vs solar system stomp.

Thess are what I see Mario fans use:
  • Mario surfing through the sea of time in Mario and the time machine.
  • Culex.
  • Tick Tock Clock
  • Bowser traversing dream worlds.
  • That one Super Luigi Adventure thing in TTYD.
  • Rosalina and the resets in Galaxy.
  • Grand Stars "Transcending/crossing time and space"
  • The Void/Super Dimentio.
  • Mario Jumping through time in Yoshi's new island.
  • Bowser warping through space and time in the same game.
  • Zeekeeper crossing dimensions.
  • Cutout in Color Splash
And some obscure unlocalized Manga stuff which are probably more legit than everything above (As if).

Seeing all the Metal fans across multiple different sites going like "YEAH METAL GO GET HIM!!!" as if it isn't the most obvious Metal W is, to be blunt and perhaps a little mean, so damn pathetic. You mean to tell me Metal needs to rely on fighting a guy several decades out of his prime for a W instead of an actually relevant character? 😴😴😴

(This isn't meant as an attack to you Metal fans who are enthusiastic about the match-up, just that this is pretty close to a "Hydrogen Bomb vs Coughing Baby" scenario if it weren't for Toei scaling).

This. I think they mentioned/implied somewhere that Multi+ for Bowser and Eggman were their hard-caps for both series while the higher-d stuff was just granting generous interpretations.

Cell alongside Raditz and Gero is just the weakest possible dragon ball villian to face.
Its kinda sad they think this is a win.

Kinda reminds me of them celebrating the IGN reviews for Mario Kart World and Sonic Racing.

Being real for a second, you smell of a person who has encountered toxic Sonic fans on Reddit or Twitter and then just assume all Sonic fans are toxic. This isn't a slight against you btw.

I can't speak for other sites and forums, but literally no Sonic fan here has said "Yeah I hope they don't use Toei so it's a bigger stomp in Metal's favor". Off-site though... yeah I can totally see Sonic fans saying that LOL.

....no one seriously considers uni Cell from anime only? I got downvoted in Reddit asking this and they thought I meant Heroes and Cell Max when I said why no anime Cell lol

Uni Toei Z Cell is pretty blatant. The only real problem is whether the Broly movies count as canon to the anime, though regardless, the Android saga still happened in the movies, so Movies Cell exists in somewhere.

I would be QUITE surprised if they use GT Cell Base GT Goku scaling or finally consider the DBverse to be infinite in size.
 
Also like, arent past and future part of spacetime? So like, every single 4D uni destruction feat should be immeasurable speed technically, no? :V

I can tell you aren't new to the powerscaling debate scene, but for your own sanity I would highly recommend avoiding both platforms for powerscaling.

As a Sonic fan myself, I can't stand the majority of other Sonic scalers off-wiki because they're either espousing some 1-A jargon they know nothing about or just act like douchebags (though in fairness, this could apply to any fandom). It's like both sites perpetually bring out the worst in people; and when all you see are the bad or distasteful fans of a series, you kinda forget there's good people in the midst too.

Either way, I'm curious. How did you personally feel upon the Cell v Metal reveal?

As i said before, i found a supposed leak for the 2026 season that did include Cell vs Metal, so i was not like, "surprised". Specially with how much this matchup was spammed post bowsegg
Overall i kinda was like "meh, i guess?" with the matchup. Its just gonna be Metal Bio Copying Cell and vaporizing him.

But since both DA (Who i dunno who told him to get involved in another DB loss after the BardockNolan blowback) and MORO are working on this, i am pretty sure this will have SUPERB animation.
So i might watch this fight again a couple times before forgetting about it. Ive already stopped caring about Ichigo vs Yusuke, for comparison.

To be fair, everyone clowned on Omnidock because it was just wrong. Everyone and their mothers know Metal is about to beat Cell's ass.

GT Scaling + maybe skill advantage getting him to know to confuse Metal with afterimages and cell jrs + zenkai making him too strong for Metal to handle + perhaps since Metal needs the master emerald he cannot get his super super form.

Also perhaps using the libido orgon energy thing as implying that Cell can absorb.

Apart from 18 vs Carol being the most whatever thing ever, they straight up said 18 could only possibly destroy planet when she had beat SSJ Vegeta 💔. And Hulk vs Goji just makes the Broly video incredibly outdated anyways, what definitely is a big dub though was Frieza vs Megatron
