I haven't been on the subreddit but by glancing at the sonic topic on this site I know a ton of sonic fans are eager for their free eats, so I wonder if the subreddit is the same. Getting a W over Dragon Ball is a huge deal for sonic fans

Yeah tbh, Metal can lose its Bio-Data copies considering he lost them after losing Master Emerald and being beaten up, so in theory if DB thinks Cell is strong enough, he could counter Neo's Bio-Data.
People really just assume DB is gonna give Super forms Infinite timelines or higher AP when its not confirmed at all. I can feel the upset potential. Even sth like FinalEggBlaster scaling isnt guaranteed either.
But man I dont want Sonic to become Bleach 2.0 fanbase for DB, it would suck so much ass lol

I personally don't care all that much about Cell vs Metal Sonic but I couldn't pass up the opportunity once I saw that one Danganronpa meme making the rounds on Twitter. Tried making a non Imgur version but Imgchest video links just don't work on this site or if they do then I dunno how to make it work

IIRC S3 of What if...? implied there is possibly an infinite number of Infinite Ultrons, all of them with the potential become multiverse ending threats should they ever become aware of the existence other universes yet for the most part are just chilling in absolute solitude after committing omnicide in their native universe (ofc this MU is based on S1 Infinite Ultron but S3 Infinite Ultron will likely be used as a supplementary evidence).
Memes aside, can I just say the fight choreography MORO did in Shiggy Vs Mahito was sublime!

Not sure how they're gonna justify a matchup like Metal and Cell even though they have one at incalculable speeds and the other at finite ones, unless they're gonna go through that route of making the universe infinite in DB and having Cell scale to Goku's anime feat of traveling from heaven to hell, OR including movie feats which they have Metal Cooler at immeasurable speed which is even more unlikely lol.

Heck, if they keep it universal (current Bowsegg ratings) vs low multiversal, its not as stupid as universal vs solar system buster.

From a person who frequents the Sonic General Discussion, I've seen a 3-way split of consensus.
- Several people dislike being given a "Pity Win" and would have preferred either a different opponent or Metal not being included at all.
- The second group is the majority, and it splits in two; some are simply hyped for Metal to get a chance to shine, while a different portion are indeed preemptively cheering over a Metal W.
- The smallest group is essentially the Trauma Therapy Circle that are convinced Metal is doomed to be eating a fat L.
I would have to disagree if we're talking about the Sonic fans on VSBW specifically (probably because it would be overkill considering our stats on the site), but I have to agree completely in regards to Sonic fans on other sites/forums.

Death Battle doesnt believe in tier 1 stuff, unless its marvel or dc, others get universal up to a certain ammount of times or in some cases multiversal shit, but thats about it

Superman is a dc character so thats a given, yet they mainly stuck with their universe being so much bigger, Galactus is a marvel character and cosmic being, unicron though was multiversal at best, simonkyle had a dc character and it dealt with a character heavily reliant on dimensional tiering
