True however this comic wasn't a thing back when the episode aired. And for what it's worth I literally proposed that Death Battle should have argued that Sage's simulations rely on the data she can get and that they should have claimed team Eggman could be overwhelmed by the hax brought to the table by Bowser, King Boo and Kamek before she can get enough data to make a winning plan instead of arguing that Sage's simulations aren't accurate (even though she made two extremely specific plans to kill The End in an instance where she did have the data she needed) or that a legion of footsoldier fodder would somehow counter her simulations through sheer numbers in a fight where universe destroyers are a factor.Reading this and trying not to laugh myself to death as the most recent IDW issue has Sage brag about being able to compile millions of predictions in seconds only for her be unable to predict the best course of action for a simply three way path within a cave just a few pages later.
This is the first time I've ever had a counterargument be practically giftwrapped to me with how this issue came out just last week.
So thanks I guess for providing supporting evidence from after the Death Battle came out for the point that I myself said Death Battle should have went with instead of what they actually did go with. We agreed on something from opposite directions which is not a counterargument.

Manga had one panel of 16 saying Cell wants to destroy the universe. Anime adds couple more. That one French guide says heaven is 5D or sth. Badabim badaboom these combined give Cell 5D stats.

Speaking of that. Honestly I'd be shocked and mildly impressed if Death Battle compared speed high ends by using the feat of Goku and Pikkon crossing the afterlife compared to Lumina crossing Maginaryworld (which the base Sonic cast arguably scale to). Frankly that comparison just feels right even if it is a high end with Toei scaling for Cell and highly debatable scaling for Metal Sonic.
- Please Death Battle make this a Thor situation where Sonic characters get faster every time they are on Death Battle, I need this.

Scaling itself would likely just be weapons and monsters. Though its the actual feats thatd likely spoil since some of the most impressive plot beats would be mentioned (Old World Blues and Lonesome Road would definitely be mentioned and spoiled in there).

Yeah that annoyed me too. Also I have to say that has to be one of the most underrated feats Eggman has even if it isn't particularly relevant to that debate. Like straight up yoinking whole ass planets and dragging them across the universe to make an amusement park out of them is kind of wild lol.
Okay to be fair they did mention potential immeasurable speed arguments in the black boxes so I'm not too bothered by them making a finite end for the calc of Solaris's light crossing the universe. If anything I thought the calc was kind of neat and Death Battle even acknowledging immeasurable speed arguments for Bowser and Eggman was kind of based.
But if I were to be a slightly petty I think I remember them saying that the light of Solaris extended to multiple timelines only to use the radius of the universe for the distance in the calc or 0.5 universes to get it to 73 Quadrillion c however if the light of Solaris even crossed one additional universe in any direction as the multiple timelines bit would suggest they should have used 1.5 universes for the distance which would get 219 Quadrillion c instead.
But again, not too bothered by that because that is just a god-tier nitpick on my end, I'm not going to lie, so while I have alot of things against that episode the Solaris speed calc certainly isn't one of them.
Who knows maybe Cell could clutch it. Although if he doesn't I'm genuinely worried that Death Battle might downplay Cell to give Metal Sonic the easiest win possible while being hype-men to Metal Sonic for the entire episode like BowsEgg only in favor of the Sonic character this time. Not that said concern is particularly fair to Death Battle I'll admit that and the episode will most likely be fine. It's just that I went into Bowser vs Eggman with high hopes despite predicting that Eggman would lose the episode in the Sonic General Discussion thread only to come out of the episode greatly disappointed with how they treated team Eggman despite me expecting his loss, so I'm going into this episode with my expectations under the floor at least in regards to how they will treat whoever the loser is.

Honestly, Cell win isnt out of question. BowserEggman wasnt too long ago so base Metal might be stuck with only Large Star stats. If they actually claim Cell's regen would outlast Super Neo, or even use highball Cell to even him out with Super form, Metal's weakness could be exploited enough. As a DBZ fan, avoiding L would be neat, but as a Sonic fan, Sonic scholars would transform into Bleach 2.0 fans. Absolutely poisoning well badly for Sonic in DB. It would be absolutely bad scenario.

The thing about Cell's regen is that you'd have to say Metal is stupid enough not to use his Chaos beams or copied Ki beams to just disintegrate Cell before his time runs out.
