DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Obvious outcome was obvious, but man J absolutely loved that fight. The start was a bit slow, though Yusuke playing dirty was funny, but after that the pace picked up dramatically. It got my heart rushing, loved the clashes and interactions, 9/10 fight.
 
Unless they're keeping it at base Metal Sonic, how tf is Cell meant to win? They already established in Bowser vs Eggman super form tier characters are at bare minimium universal and over 70 quadrillion times FTL which is way beyond Cell Saga tier, even if they get wacky with Toei stuff the black boxs from BowsEgg would counter that too given it'd put super forms at multiversal+ and infinite / immeasurable.
 
On first watch-through; EP was a nice 8/10. Animation was great, prob up there with the best sprite eps in the show. I'm not crazy into either character but the interactions and power trades were fun. Only big complaints are that the setup could have been better, and I feel like the death is kinda weak.

A power level of just10k is already 9.5 trillion times FTL so it's not too far fetched that cell would reach that level of speed idk 🤷

Huh, didn't even realise but yeah this would tie Metal with Batman for the character with the most episodes thata actually fights. Granted two of the episodes Metal was a combatant in he was a sidepiece to Eggman instead of the main fighter. He also beats Batman in the variety of verses he's fought against, Mega Man, Mario, and now Dragon Ball compared to Batman just getting farmed by Marvel characters again and again (Well except for Captain America lmao).

He pretty much had a meltdown because people were not happy with BardockNolan.
And that is obvious due to the absurd reasoning to get more Goku rageviews in what is pretty much GvS4 lite.

I think its pretty much his fault for even agreeing on making it seeing the result/sundisk scaling being used. As a dragon ball content creator/making the deadpool vs cell video, he should have known most DB fans do not like to be reminded of the GvS results.
 
Well shit we are going to get another L for Dragon Ball for sure, i don't see anyway for Cell to pull a victory.

Realistically i can see them putting Cell at Universal (via statements and maybe scale from movies) with Massively FTL+ Speed (via Goku and Pikkon's flying feat), while back in Eggman VS Bowser Super Sonic would fully scale to Super Sonic who has feats in the Universal+ to Multiversal+ with Immeasurable Speed.

Even High Universal and Infinite Speed meta isn't going to be enough.
