Refresh my memory but I don't think I've seen anywhere that says that Darkseid was amping him up; only that the fighters needed to battle them in order to juice up their Omega energies. Still, Clark saying that Homelander was evenly matched with him says a lot considering he had just fought against a composite Captain Atom who held as much power as the Heart of Apokolips itself. Being able to resist the World Forger's attempts to send him back home is no small feat either.

They all lose their amps after each round so this is just base Supes.
It's hard to say Supes is even going all out here when we all know he holds back by default, and Homelander does no proper damage to Superman whereas Supes actually draws blood.

Sinestro vs Fallen is an ok MU but Sinestro is much better against Megs ngl, plus I feel both honestly have better options than each other.

The omega energy itself is the amps, all fighters are gain omega energy for the fights causing them to be far stronger than what they are capable of (even the most basic amount can turn someone into a god tier). The heat beams being even doesn't mean much since Clark isn't even out to kill for this fight and is intentionally holding back to generate more Omega energy for the plan, he even points out how disappointed he is in Homeladers power. So the only notable thing from this is him resisting the World Forger's attempt to send him home, however that can also be explained by the Omega Energy since Homelander might just have a more natural affinity for it than the other crossover combatants

At the absolute least, Homelander would be star level considering Superman's hitting him with knuckle dusters tipped with miniature suns.

If Superman would be far stronger than him, why would he claim that his heat vision matches with Homelander, enough for him to change up his strategy by burrowing underground to do a sneak attack on him? He could've just easily overpowered Homelander with his own heat vision.

We only see that in the very beginning of the tournament. They lose their everything each round. It's hard to say Supes even has the same gear here so not really.

Plus, it's likely all of these crossover characters are likely amplified given even the Absolute corrupted of the trio are stronger than Supes, Wondie, Lex and Joker despite the fact Absolute DC doesn't nearly reach the same levels as their main selves.

You can literally see him holding the wraps around his hands all over the tournament. I fail to see how he'd lose those effects. Hell, Lex brought every varietal of kryptonite with him for the tournament and he used it not just in the second round, but in the 4th round when he used it on Supergirl against Aquaman and Hawkman.

And he loses those wraps in several of the following issues. It's more likely just an art inconsistency here.
Plus the Kryptonite is like an integral part of Lex's suit, like ya know, the rest of armoured suits, whereas the sun knuckles clearly aren't.

We don't really know that since it's only been confirmed that the Absolute versions of the Trinity have been amped with Omega energy. As far as I'm concerned, Lex shouldn't realistically have struggled against Sam Strong when he's already wearing a suit made from New God technology, but it still happens and nothing suggests that Sam and the rest of the crossover fighters had been enhanced by the Heart.

He only lost it when he had to face off against Captain Atom. Especially since both combatants were given the choice of an alternative form that they've achieved across their continuity so it makes their own chosen weapons a little superfluous to the match. But he's been consistently drawn with the wraps equipped, in both the cover art and the interiors.

Still find it crazy they had base Supes handle his own against Super-Monarch Capt. Atom, you'd think they'd have a little fun with the powerscaling arguments and have Supes be his Thought Robot or Strange Visitor self

It's more insane because a composite Captain Atom is simultaneously the Chrono Mota, Monarch, Armageddon-WildStorm crossover, Silver Age versions all rolled into one being that's as OP as the Heart itself, and can pick up the literal panels of his own continuity and fling them around like shuriken lmao. I'd like to think at that scale, they were both fighting in the Overvoid.

See, that's what im saying. Going by the site's definition of the Overvoid its the white background in which the panels of the story rest on, and yeah, that looks to be what's going on in Comp Atom vs Supes.

It's definitely not the Overvoid given how insanely high it scales in the cosmology. Without much info, it's only best to assume it's the stereotypical white void in fiction. Plus neither the Heart or CA really have the feats that suggests he would scale to such a level as at best, he's probably scaling to like the CU.
