“I get the story is neat but I don’t give a **** about the story, what matters is when you put them in an arena and say fight”. They don’t pick match ups because stories are similar, what they pick is if the fight is interesting. The story being similar could be interesting to tie in, but how they work in a fight is what is important and for the match up as a whole there are other more important parts than the story.

Probably. I'd say the manga has 1 more arc left in it due to how close its nearing the End of Z. Unless Toyotaro decides to make his own version of GT after that. The anime can definitely completely adapt everything.

Or like, take its own route that the manga follows instead.

Oh and we're 100% getting SSJ5, I cannot not see Toyotaro skimp out on that with 4 being in the picture again.
