As I mentioned, if you were referring to Pokemon not being able to switch out then it's a false negative since that's not the same thing as having your soul sealed. As those moves only prevent pokemon from going back into the pokeball
It removes binding effects and hazards placed on the user's fields, most trap cards don't fall under those descriptions. This isn't some universal purification, the only notable card that I can think that it negates is Swords of Revealing Lights.

The bloody hell are you on about, they said that Ash breaking the duel disk didn't matter since Yugi can just will these things without it and Ash was just given mind manip resistance. That last part just wasn't a factor for winning
Oh bloody hell, Ash and co were hit with Pikachu's strongest move, both the dark magicians, AND the Creator God's power. They didn't have the stats to tank all that and the aoe literally made it impossible to dodge. Him having LP is irrelevant since it's just him tanking the attack directly alongside all the other stuff

And for the record, I'm a pokemon fan. While I play Duel Links casually, I have far more connection to that kid from pallet town and teared up multiple times in the analysis and fight watching my boy doing his own thing. While I can understand complaints, just blindly discrediting, intentionally ignoring, or making stuff up doesn't make anyone look good

Also we’ve seen throughout the games and anime that there are various mundane ways to stop Pokeballs from working. Even hacking them can somehow work as seen in the AI Sada/Turo battle in Scarlet and Violet.

Yugi doesn't need the duel disc itself to summon monsters or to transport. The Main Antagonist of GX's Third Season, and an initial antagonist in its 4th were duel monsters who crossed over to the human world on their own, the latter with ease. GX Season 4 even sees Judai summon Neos without using his Duel Disk to save himself from Kaiba Corp Tower blowing up and to protect himself from Paradox's Dragons in BBT.
GX Season 4 also sees Atemless Yugi create a pocket in space time so that his past self could duel Judai with Atem.

Any that have binding effects or deal damage over time (alternatively any that are placed on Ash's field ig but that just not a factor), which is practically none of them (at least from what I can remember). Most traps just destroy monsters, negate an ability/move, or does some random BS. You are acting like Rapid Spin negates everything, it doesn't, there's a plethora of abilities and ailments in pokemon that it just doesn't interact with.
