I think this was during a time researchers made blogs of their info gathered, if my memory serves right, it was misleaded i think from an image of him being near a lake or something that was frozen, but wasnt valid as it could have been already in that state

Honestly there needs to be some set standards on how something is included or not, if you do composite overall for both characters or in a way its debatable both ways, thats fair game
But if not, you gotta stick to whats counted part of canon or not, street fighter is one example of it, wog and an official guide all make it clear their UDON comics are a separate canon
Let alone only the ones for SF6 are part of the main series with involvement from them, not to mention the timeline and certain events dont match at all
Honestly the explanation that peeps will ask why they didnt include something doesnt work at this point, just clarify in a black box or at the start for whats counted, it seems rather unfair to count something of this nature given contradictions exist and nothing tells you its considered part of it

Looking at footage, it does look like its really not Garchomp blocking Palkia's attack, its Palkia blocking Garchomp's attack, Palkia attacked afterwards.
