Yeah but it was asked as a hypothetical MU for DB which would use later series.
Unless you wanted to point that Baki is stronger than one thinks or SF is weaker than assumed.

As a death battle we know where they place them at, I am also aware from one of the researchers why they include some stuff, but too much stuff lately go against these to be logically included just for being official media
I just pointed anything from 5th to 6th game is a stomp against Baki, while anything from 1st to 4th is a stomp to Ryu

I'm late but wanna answer this. Yeah most of the DoA cast scales to base Hayabusa. I say "base" because the True Dragon Sword seems to amp him. For scaling, you have stuff like Hayate being considered an equal to Ryu, Alpha 152 fought Ryu on equal footing the the point Ryu was breathing heavily, Kasumi defeated Alpha 152, Ayane is equal to Kasumi, etc. AP wise without cosmic arguments you can maybe argument planet since Ryu's black holes are maaaybe real. Without that, there is some town - island level stuff.
And yeah the verse is currently massively outdated. It's getting revised, but it's a slow process since there aren't many supporters. Am glad its getting researched more though

Yuh. The feats in question would be Alexei creating a storm that covered New York, Volf has a storm feat on a similar too, a fight between Fijin and Raijin created a typhoon that lasted a week, and Bankotsubo changing the weather and dispersing storms by stomping

You would think being promoted at game awards last year debuting in one of the big 3 of fighting games was gonna get more people knowledgable on him, heck even 3 million sold is a decent number for a standalone game
Tbf Death Battle doesnt promote many of their MUs and even when they do, most dont live up to it, Kratos vs Asura being a good example, not to mention people voted for this to happen so much as if it wasnt gonna be controversial or lacking for animation
