From my experience, Novels usually have the more bullshit statements and feats in it.

I would think the show's interpretation of what Buffy is capable of takes priority over novels that weren't written by the same people who wrote the show. Joss Whedon's total involvement with the novels were just giving the okay after being given a general overview of what the novels were about.

Plot bullets transcend fictional scaling naturally ofc. On a side note even as a kid, I thought it was kinda stupid but funny that some guy with a gun did more damage to the Scooby Gang than 80% of the supernatural threats they faced lol!
I think it's kinda the point? Also a zoner with a Raging Demon is pretty hilarious tbh.

The animation was kinda mid, with some funny moments.
The conclusion was okay I guess (High 7-A persona was funny trought). They kinda explained poorly Bite the dust in the end and How Adachi counters, but whatever.
