Nothing much, had negative interest in Ruby vs maka and almost zero interest in this MU. I do have some observations about the overall DB community I’ve made over the last few months that I’ll post in a bit.Sup man
I’m just saying if that ep happens I’m leaving this community permanentlyBetter get the Skibidi Toilet vs Italian Brainrot Death Battle ready for the zoomers. Shit Ima make a thumbnail for that now actually...
Same, I’ve been pretty apathetic lately but I’ll just be done if that happens.I’m just saying if that ep happens I’m leaving this community permanently
by all means im all earsNothing much, had negative interest in Ruby vs maka and almost zero interest in this MU. I do have some observations about the overall DB community I’ve made over the last few months that I’ll post in a bit.
I've seen some people powerscale DBS goku to like 5-D/6-D and Heroes Goku to 7-D/8-D. So i'm not really sure.Is goku vs sonic just a stomp for sonic by DB standards currently?
By DB standards Super Sonic is either barely on par with Battle of Gods Goku and gets stomped by current Goku, or does potentially stomp given the stuff they black boxed in Bowser vs Eggman. Is goku vs sonic just a stomp for sonic by DB standards currently?
No, If we exlude Black box.Is goku vs sonic just a stomp for sonic by DB standards currently?
Isn't SSB Goku in DBS already 5D due to Arale's 5D scaling?I've seen some people powerscale DBS goku to like 5-D/6-D and Heroes Goku to 7-D/8-D. So i'm not really sure.
Wait like... the entire Skaven?
Damn who hated Buffy enough to get her to try and solo a Vermintide...
Just posted it.by all means im all ears
I'm hearing your brother is a heretic and needs to watch LotR.My own brother didn't know who sauron was and he's not even remotely a vs debater it broke something inside me when someone nearby said "not everyone is familiar with your internet stuff"
You have to remember, the DB fanbase is mostly children and edgy teens. Trying to talk to them as a whole is like talking to a herd of hungry sheep.Sorry for the wall of text but I’ve been thinking about this since the Kickstarter era began and I think I’m finally able to put this into words.
I have noticed that Death Battle fans tend to not really care about the characters or source material themselves, they just care about them in a scaling sense. And sometimes they’ll start “caring” about a character simply due to powerscaling despite never consuming a single piece of media that character is in. The most egregious example is the “Kyle rayner the GOAT” posting. I guarantee you none of the people saying that even knew who he was or that he even existed until the matchup got popular.
It’s also the only community that I know of where Kyle is more well known and popular than things like LOTR and Buffy the vampire slayer. I remember the discord being like “who’s Sauron?” When Sauron vs lich king was announced. I can understand not knowing buffy, but how the **** do you not know who Sauron is?
They only like Kyle because he’s an extension of DC cosmology, and they like DC not because of its content, but because of its powerscaling potential, same with marvel. The DB community is the “powerscalers don’t actually watch/read/play what they scale” taken to the logical extreme.
The most recent development I’ve noticed is the response of the DB community to Godzilla destroys the marvel universe. Dormammu just got ******* dumpstered by Godzilla and the subreddit isn’t taking this well at all. Trying to find every reason why it doesn’t count or how the author doesn’t know powerscaling so it’s invalid and shit like that. As if the fan made show that the creators have said is fanfiction multiple times overrides the official canon. Guys, the author outright said it’s canon and there’s a bunch of evidence showing that this is a continuation of the original marvel Godzilla run. Not much you can do about that.
If Godzilla beats hulk in issue 4 next month (and given the solicitation for issue 5 it looks like it’s going to take pretty much everyone plus Godzillas vibranium weakness and a new mech described as “the most powerful machine ever made in the marvel universe” to potentially beat him) I guarantee you the butthurt and seething will be through the roof, DB fans have developed a cult like mentality and Marvel themselves disagreeing with the episode result only a couple months after it aired will cause a lot of anger. This cult like mindset has been prevalent since people got genuinely angry when people cancelled their Kickstarter pledges.
And I’m all good with this, I wanted the episode and the comic to have opposite outcomes since the beginning.
It’s quite telling how I’ve been enjoying the show a lot more the less I interact with the fanbase.
No.Isn't SSB Goku in DBS already 5D due to Arale's 5D scaling?
We had 5-D EE for a little bit, but DBS is not allowed to be 5-D, or standards will literally ******* change to stop it lmfaoNo.
Arale 5D is just with Plot manipulation, her physical is not 5D (yet atleast) in this site.
No! Animation vs animator! There fore best!Damn, that's a mid matchup.
In regards to the bold yes that's true the community mainly jerked off Kyle via he's a DC character as opposed to his actual character and most of the complaints over the outcome where's despite being debatable reeks of how dare Simon beat a DC characterSorry for the wall of text but I’ve been thinking about this since the Kickstarter era began and I think I’m finally able to put this into words.

DB tends to wait a few years between run backs, when do you think the next goku match up.might be?In regards to the Goku vs Sonic talk Ultraguy has Goku beating Sonic for now and while it's his opinion I doubt the crew think much differently
No, it's because Dragon Ball would have become 2-C or 2-B. AKM.Actually hang on, VSW doesnt accept multipliers for Tier 2, because the distance between spaces is unknown--
Multiples to go between tiers, then don't consider additional universes something a Multipler could add it (kinda bull once you reach 2 tbh)Actually hang on, VSW doesnt accept multipliers for Tier 2, because the distance between spaces is unknown. But what would be the minimum gap possible? Or is the issue we dont know what the minimum is?
Ya that if after DB undeniable becomes 2-B due to some random things that standard suddenly changes it be the funniest thingNo, it's because Dragon Ball would have become 2-C or 2-B. AKM.
Idk tbh the only one I see be Comp Ryu which let's be real I'm not a huge fan ofDB tends to wait a few years between run backs, when do you think the next goku match up.might be?
I cant tell if this is a joke :VNo, it's because Dragon Ball would have become 2-C or 2-B. AKM.
It is a joke, but it's funny because that is exactly what happened and why it did.I cant tell if this is a joke :V
Timeless Voids used to grant immeasurable speed until Dragon Ball had one for example.Dragon Ball is probably the most active community in powerscaling, so a lot of standards for what a "strong" verse with multiversal soloers depends on how high DB currently scales.
