Normally Helldiver vs 40KSpace Marine (generic for both) is my preferred, but I just love how chaotic the idea of EDF vs Super Earth sounds so its my second favorite Helldiver MU

I genuinely can't remember anything about the Hulkzilla fight other than Bruce saying his speech. Not the music, not the animation, nothing. It was incredibly underwhelming and to be frank the fight is by far the weakest of all of Hulk's episodes.

I think a lot of fights this season have been incredibly underwhelming and bland.
You have the obvious in Kratos vs Asura, but DoomChief had a good first half and gimmicky second half, Omnidock felt plodding and unimpactful at times, like I've said this before but unqiue and interesting chorgraphy has become increasingly rare in Death Battle fights.
It kinda started with Gogeta vs Vegito where fights became a 'hey look at this remember this' amusement park ride. And I'm not saying that doesn't have a place in a Death Battle, but I honestly don't have high expectations for RubyMaka to have the choreography it deserves.

I don't know how much of it is on the animators or the storyboard artist or the writers or whatever. DA had to change some of the storyboards for Kratos vs Asura because they were straight up ass but then he turns around and gives Asura no meaningful offense and hands Kratos Asura's hype moment, like why do people not talk about that? How is that any better?

The Hive kinda feel more like a Tyranid or Chaos Faction fight than an Imperium of Man fight tbh.
I feel like the Covenant from Halo (pre 5) kinda fit against the Imperium more. Religious zealotry mixed with space faring, conquering races and corruption out the whazoo.
