Not that there aren't other ways to play it than that collection, but the Punisher beat-em-up arcade game is QUITE good. His projectile & dodge roll add spacing complications that help make it one of the best in a critically underappreciated genre. Like Final Fight (Arcade), it inspired a lotta stuff down the line but is still a great game in itself. The Electric Underground did a cool review.

Aside from cosmics, easily The Doctor since Time Lords invented chess & he stalemated a Cyberman controller AI in his head long enough to meet his own goals.
It could be interesting to consider runner-ups but also: who would be the worst at chess? Maybe Sabrewulf from Killer Instinct, he'd be too busy going "Arrrgh, oh no, I'm a werewolf!" and trying to eat the ref to pull any good plays, and I vaguely recall Riptor having above-average intelligence and not being as mentally distressed. I feel that Godzilla & Gamera would be surprisingly decent at chess in their goofier incarnations where they play basketball or play the xylophone or whatever, but if SBA has a normal-sized chess board size in mind, they might just knock over all the pieces.

I initially misread this as Discord the app & was trying to figure out where the joke about child endangerment was in there.
Wait, didn't Bill pummel him with a giant knight piece? That could be an anti-feat, I'm not familiar with these esoteric rulesets. Maybe he has Law Manipulation, like Code Geass having those ridiculous illegal moves in its chess scenes.
