This really makes me think there are some behind the scenes problems in the studio, especially when you consider how much of a boiling pot the problems in the anime industry has been lately.

Does he? This one has been always a bit weird to me, granted I've never looked into the match that deeply. But aside being a heavyweight champion, didn't Mac beat Mr. Sandman who tore down an entire building by repeatedly punching it? Ippo is no slouch but Hajime no Ippo makes does stay rather grounded and kinda makes a deal of weight class differences.

Meh, I guess. Although there’s people like WeBeAnimating for Xeno fights, if that’s any food for thought. Then again, the series reps on DBa might not even need to be 3D given recently I found out Shulk has sprites in a fork of Super Smash Flash (of all things), so there’s your fun fact for the day.
Although, while we’re on the subject of animators, there’s something I’d like to ask again:

Yeah, it is totally understandable that they didn't use the Godzilla crossovers in the match against the Hulk; however, according to DB, the canonical Marvel Godzilla comics aren't canon because they say so. That's even more lame, IMO…
