they should redo Darkseid vs Thanos but with the parademons and Darkseid’s different minions and Thanos’ black orderTo this day I still think that Thanos vs Darkseid should've either been a tie or a Thanos win. The gauntlet should be, bare minimum, just as powerful as Darkseid and the omniscience that it grants the user means that Thanos could never be tricked into leaving his universe since he would know that doing so would render the stones inert. Not to mention the fact that the gauntlet was able to put up a good fight against God Emperor Doom while The Living Tribunal got rolled by just 3 Beyonders which shows that the gauntlet is in fact above TLT in power which is more than a match for Darkseid.
So Thanos should've either outright beaten Darkseid through sheer power or Darkseid would just never try to enter the universe that Thanos is in which would lead to a tie. Also if you wanna scale the Infinity Gauntlet above the Eternity Mask (since IG>Eternity) then it should actually been a stomp in Thanos' favor with modern day feats considering that the mask has worked against beings similar to Darkseid's true form like Anti All.
Remember this lmaooo
You know what, I'll make that trade.Omni Man vs Bardock was karma for Hulk vs Broly

They genuinely arent. People have an unfortunately tendency to overscrutinize RWBY feats and use the lowest possible yields for everything in regards to the verse, so the vast, vast majority of these calcs are heavily lowballedmost of those look over exaggerated tbh
Why? just let the series die alreadyThis is why I want a RWBY Reboot![]()
By the way Weekly, do you agree with Arthas vs Sauron? Why? just let the series die already
I dont know enough about Sauron to sayBy the way Weekly, do you agree with Arthas vs Sauron?
Cancellation is a good option as well but wasted potential is a shameWhy? just let the series die already
RWBY ends with a giant boulder falling on the entire verse killing everything. Very based.Cancellation is a good option as well but wasted potential is a shame
A reboot would actually do wonders to the hot garbage RWBY isWhy? just let the series die already

Yeah at this point the only way to fully reinvigorate the series would be to restart it from the beginning, but to be successful, certain things need to happen:This is why I want a RWBY Reboot![]()
This is where Monty's passing impacted the series the most. His choreography was fantastically dynamic, the team that took over after him just couldnt replicate it
- Better action and choreography—and I’m not talking about just feats. After Volume 3, we all saw a decline in quality when it came to the fight scenes; they became more boring, less spectacular, and completely botched the power escalation. Instead of feeling like the characters were growing stronger, it seemed like they were getting weaker. Considering that 3D action was one of the main selling points of RWBY (with the trailers all focus on the main characters fighting), you can imagine how important it is for the reboot to bring back that same level of explosive, over-the-top spectacle.
So funnily enough, they WANTED to do this. Beacon was supposed to be roughly twice as long as it was and the fall was meant to be the midway point in the series. They had to cut a ton of content for one reason or another, so much so that they made an entire 5-book long manga anthology filled with stuff they would have had happen in the Beacon Arc had they been given the time to do so.
- An extended Beacon arc. I believe the Fall of Beacon (assuming it must still happen like in the original series) should take place much later. The story would benefit from having more “Volume 1–Volume 2–style” material before the major upheaval. Similar to how One Piece used numerous arcs to build up to Marineford, additional volumes of Beacon-focused storytelling could make the eventual fall even more impactful and memorable.
The Beacon Arc's time in verse could have been reduced in less than a year and there would still be enough space to add multiple Volumes worth of content, be slice of life and/or adventure, which could had been used to further develop the characters, expand the worldbuilding and improve the base story, adding more stuff to make the Fall of Beacon even more impactful.Like to put it into perspective, the Beacon Arc canonically takes place over a year and a half. They cut SO MUCH from the main show that they had to try to patch all the holes in the story with side content. Weiss going from hating faunus to suddenly being okay with them out of basically nowhere in the main show was the entire premise of Ice Queendom for example.
Definitely. The majority of Ice Queendom takes place in the span of a single day and volume 8 as a whole takes place over the span of 2 days, so they could have definitely written it like that if the had the opportunity to.The Beacon Arc's time in verse could have been reduced in less than a year and there would still be enough space to add multiple Volumes worth of content, be slice of life and/or adventure, which could had been used to further develop the characters, expand the worldbuilding and improve the base story, adding more stuff to make the Fall of Beacon even more impactful.
Sure people may find weird that so much its happening in such small time, but is not that impossible to pull off with series like One Piece or My Hero Academia having multiple arcs occuring in just the same year in universe, and like Lenin once say "There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen".
Sure, but assuming this hypothetical reboot manage to pull it off the series, it may regain hype, and old fans who left may give it a chance.Even then hype for RWBY long past atp
Yeah that was my bad, I'm so rusty with forums posting I forget to clear out the post box whenever I use it to make clickable links. I've edited it so it shouldn't be a problem anymore.Does clicking this link bring anyone else to the Light Refraction page on the Soul Eater fandom wiki?
To be perfectly fair, I honestly don't think most of them are. The problem is I also don't think nearly anyone in the series scales to most of them. (Yes Weekly I know you don't agree. We don't have to do this song and dance again.)most of those look over exaggerated tbh

So what you're saying is, we need to go the Ultimate Universe/Absolute DC route.A reboot only works if ya have the writers who can actually deliver on the writing
Even then hype for RWBY long past atp
If you click Weekly's response to my original post sure, but I edited it so it shows the Reddit thread now:![]()

A good chunk of the feats on the list were performed by the main cast my guyTo be perfectly fair, I honestly don't think most of them are. The problem is I also don't think nearly anyone in the series scales to most of them. (Yes Weekly I know you don't agree. We don't have to do this song and dance again.)
Have you never heard of scaling before? For example, nearly none of the cast match up against the Town+ level calcs. Neo's crater on the Ever After could maybe be seen as the highest end for durability, but it's vastly more than we've seen any other character take. However, since a lot of Maka's biggest durability showings are her also being cratered on the moon I'd say it's reasonable to accept them. (Then we just need to get to the fact that no-one in team RWBY was ever able to break Neo's Aura. The last fight of volume 8 she's beaten because Cinder betrayed her after Ruby tricked her to nearly fall off the edge into the void. Not really a combat prowess defeat.). None of them are strong enough to survive Ironwood's bomb, nor the Grimm river attack or the Monstro explosion (the same explosion that didn't even break a single window in the house that Team RWBY was staying it despite them being close enough to see it light up the entire city.)
Check again, he added Winter's FTL feats to the listAnd then when you look at speed there's not a single one there that gets them above Relativistic. Obviously nobody in RWBY scales to the Brother's speed feat :V Which means my assessment of the speed difference between the two is pretty on point.
hey Weekly, fun fact, there is already a memetic mutation in TV tropes Death Battle page about your reddit account, where you are the laughingstock because you are the only PERSON in the entire subreddit who thinks Ruby has a chance...
You're being quite reasonable, DS games (especially Pokémon ones) have become insanely expensive and everytime I go shopping, I get a pricy reminder that I was a foolish kid for selling, loosing and/or giving away my games.Kinda random, but is anyone here looking for a US cart of SMT IV Apocalypse?
Just found out how much it goes for at my local CeX, but it's a US cart selling to a UK company (which they won't take from what I've read up. If you're wondering how my British arse ended up with a US copy of the game, it's a long story involving my dad being a terrific dumbass).
Consider £29 UK / $38.81 US my starting bid.
So gore, blood, cannibalism, etc?So what you're saying is, we need to go the Ultimate Universe/Absolute DC route.
Tbf Doom was already a great and iconic franchise with a legacy (even got a movie) before the decline, RWBY never reached iconic status and it (arguably) peaked too early.Sure, but assuming this hypothetical reboot manage to pull it off the series, it may regain hype, and old fans who left may give it a chance.
It did happen before, DOOM 2016 did manage to bring back to popularity the Doom series which had been declined for years.
