Not at all, if i overplayed the verse i'd be arguing that theyre island level. They are consistently Small City level, just because you choose to downplay them doesnt mean thats the level they actually are.

Yeah well at least when Ruby loses, Weekly cant turn to 'wow it was a stomp the entire time, that was so unfair to them and a spite matchup against RWBY' like they used to whenever it was unanimously agreed upon the RWBY character loses.

Where did this logical leap come from? Here we go:
1° They are harmonizing with their own black blood, not Asura's. This is clear with "doing the same thing Crona did" which was becoming one with the black blood after absorbing Asura. With the result being the Blood Armor, which in Crona's case was her thorny outfit and Maka's the blood dress.
2° They resonate the black blood to be able to enter into his inner dimension, you made a logical leap (that this was for durability negation) that simply does not exist in the work.
