The ChiefSlayer Master Chief analysis was genuinely dogshit. They go over his physicals, talk about some of his guns, gloss over MJOLNIR, and that’s it. No mention of his higher weaponry like the Incineration Cannon, none of his best skill feats (which mean infinitely more to a fight than experience), they just ignore how Chief’s latest suits are magnitudes better than the suits they’re analyzing and the later augmentations like the Genesong, it’s just so bad it’s infuriating.
Meanwhile for Doomslayer they let the BFG work on Master Chief despite only working on demons, have the ******* meathook pierce his MJOLNIR suit (which doesn’t damage the weakest of demons), let him magically see Master Chief through Active Camouflage despite VEGA literally saying he couldn’t, and of course even let current Doomslayer scale to the very slow rocket launcher in DOOM 1 (which he can’t repeat in any game since) and deflect it which he could never do at all.
It was so ******* biased to Doomslayer to the point they probably walked in wondering how to make him win.

Bringing back old query, what themed MUs have yet to appear? We've had many elements like Fire, Ice, Thunder etc. and robots, kaijus and whatnot. Is there a big one missing? A spaceship MU kinda doesnt exist, as FoxBucky only scratched surface a bit there.

I would have said logistical/non-combative MUs count, but I feel like Light/Columbo is going to fall under that umbrella.
I'd also bring up artificer MUs or 'those who construct', but that net is way too wide, and also IronLuthor exists.

It's actually kind of incredible we haven't had an outright dragon fight yet. We've gotten close a couple of times, but nothing that quite fits the bill yet. It isn't for lack of options, either - Ghidorah vs Deathwing, Bahamut vs Rayquaza, Nicol Bolas vs Tiamat, Charizard vs Rathalos, etc.
I guess we're long overdue a cowboy fight as well. Gunslinger fights in general are a relative rarity on Death Battle (the last one we had that wasn't a fan-voted rematch was ... I think Bond vs Wick?), and there's a ton of classic cowboy/wild west tropes you could utilise to make the fight stand out. The only real knock against it is that there aren't a ton of popular cowboy matchups out there, but I've seen people push for Erron Black vs Cole Cassidy for a while now, so who knows?

Doom Slayer could fight invisible enemies all the way back in Doom 1 and 2.
He has higher speed scaling than this anyways.

Those type of people existed before death battle entertained herald scaling like nowadays and before DB or other franchises as universal too, they just werent as many
On Facebook groups for example even to this day they dont believe DB is universal or whom had garbage takes, like somehow arguing bullets > lasers in speed

Charizard vs WarGreymon is technically a dragon fight, as is DragonzordKiryu a sort of mecha dragon fight, but yeah interesting omission.
Western themed seems SoL. There have been general many weapon users MUs tho. Id say StitchRocket kinda counts too?

Kiryu Absolute Zero ends up counting as Sheer Cold and fails to work on Charizard. Chairzard's flamethrower doesn't work cause Kiryu's heatproofing is too good. They end up beating each other up instead.
