seems kinda ridiculous.
Scaling to other people's cosmology through IDW is in my opinion just wrong. I can say that all other verses are canon to my verse but if my work is official then my words would mean nothing unless coroborated by others. I genuienly don't see GIH above Low 2-C and even that may be generous.

looking into it deeper it feels like its just out of context statements layered with some nlf for DND and saying that for some reason Godzilla's god would scale to the 1-A gods of DND. I honestly feel like at that point we've reached an area that has gotten so convoluted and ridiculous that it has become wank.

I dunno, Mr. Fantastic was kinda notorious for not having good MUs before. And they have had so many eps, good eps in fact, that I really wish they'd slowdown more. If CapAm vs Kamen Rider happens this year it would be 4th Marvel returnee this year, damn.

GiH is and (unfortunately) will likely be for the foreseeable the embodiment of battle boarding brainrot alongside the (likely) forged scans for 9D DMC, the in your face plagiarism of Blue and White (the MC even battled Saitama and Thanos while stealing Dante's devil trigger iirc) and ofc the legend of (pre-debunk) Demonsbane where the verse was built on lies lol!

I just hate using author statements from fan questions in the first place. It is one thing if it is an answer from a qna where it is an unrelated question that gave an intersting answer but asking authors for powerscaling is low. It basically undermines the whole point of powerscaling. Powerscaling is basically a very specific type of character analysis where you use information available to find out more about your character. Asking about it is like if a tolkien researches walked up to tolkien and said "hey can you just explain the underlying complex themes of your works please?"

Unfortunately (to a degree) it's human nature, most peeps know to do most things in moderation but a few always ends up ruining it for everyone else because they gave into vice. WoG should always be supplementary material at best (imo) and never the core reason for indexing an ability, stats, personality, etc. VSBW standards obviously won't allow anything to be added here via leading questions and/or the author being a clear powerscaler but due to the subjectivity of powerscaling, other communities may have even stricter or looser standards than here plus the typical preference for certain verses (niche, popular or otherwise).
Tbh I don't really put any stock nor really follow any individual powerscaler on YT, TikTok, Insta, etc but I do sometimes scroll through WiS edits if I need a quick chuckle tho.

Despite not speaking Japanese nor English, IIRC in Godzilla vs Gigan there was those legendary scenes where he had conversations with Anguirus in speech bubbles (which, even funnier in the spanish dub were voiced over and Godzilla had this comically gravely voice). And in Ghidorah the three headed monster he actually had a heated argument with Mothra and Rodan when Mothra was trying to convince them to help her defend humanity. Funnily, the dub added a line where Mothra's fairies expressed "Oh, Godzilla, what terrible language!" implication being that Godzilla would be rather foul mouthed.

The thing I find incredibily questionable, not here in particular, but in general, is when people play loose with word of god. If it supports a tiering or powers they are aiming for or higher the author is treated as law, but if it contradicts it then death of the author is immediately slapped.

I absolutely hate this scene, but frankly I just despite Quippy Reddit-Tier Joss Whedon Dialogue which is always sarcastic has ton of ***** but ulitimately says something that a 13 year old has thought up but is treated as profound by midwits.
