I tried to help with the Dai ones but Final Fantasy ended up eating all my time. I still have my notes from chapter 1 to up to chapter 70 or so at least.

Ngl I think Blackbeard vs K. Rool is a cool mu and could make for a cool vs animation, but it's similar to Gohan vs Invincible in that it's such a big stomp that I don't really wanna see it as a DB ep even tho I like the mu. I personally prefer King Pig as an opponent for K Rool since it has connections, vibes, and is debatable but Hook for K Rool has been growing on me too.

Dai gets commonly matched up against Kid Goku. I see the reasoning, but personally don't vibe with it that much, I dunno why, given Goku's influence in Dai is very evident.
Ooof, Baran vs Omniman was absolutely perfect, but it had no chance of happening, given that, results aside, his fated opponent was always bardock Bardock.
I've also seen some people toy with the idea of him fighting Dracula from Castlevania, mostly due to having similar relationships with their sons who opposes them, being figures of great power and fear among commanding a supernatural clan (the Dragons and the Creatures of the Night), having been driven to misantrophy because humans killed their beloved (though Dracula first lost his faith in God when Elizabeth died of an illness when he was fighting in the crusades in His name, but when Lisa was executed for being falsely accused of being a witch just worsened it horribly) and the irony of Baran having willingly served a Demon King now fighting Dracula who is a Dark Lord himself. That said, everybody agreed Baran had no chance against Dracula. Even the Draconic Aura's protection would fall short against Dracula's demonic magic and chaotic powers.
What I'm a bit surprised is that I've never seen matchups for Pop, aside one joke one brought of him fighting Luigi as the "battle of the green cowardly lions".

One thing I personally dislike about vs battles wiki is how random the fights are. It really feels like seeing if a character can rack wins within his tier bracket which feels like a foregone conclusion, but nobody ever asked "Ecco vs Sukuna" so it feels arbitrary. Also maybe this is more just a differing philosophy but I kind of like the idea of building a character's profile from the ground up in each debate kind of like how Death Battle or other forums do it; it isn't fun to just look at the page and say "X character wins due to y and z" followed by 6 FRAAt least chickens are safe (they only cross roads not streets) heh!

It is more of a philosophical disagreement. I mostly would just focus on making feats/scaling/cosmology blogs for the stuff I want to work on (Dragon Quest) rather than actually start versus matchup threads unless there ends up being a thread I think is thematically viable (Like if Nokturnus becomes 2-B to 2-A I might start a thread for him to fight Darkrai because that works as a matchup)
