DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Thats only here, DB and the community still has JJK at City to Mountain level AP and MHS+ speed.
Yeah, that's why i mentioned it was just on vs. I also vaguely remember seeing people unironically argue tier 6 JJK, which i don't believe in the slightest
Where would y'all rank Spider-Ku alongside the other 3d matches in 24'&25' OmniDock, KraSura, and DoomChief?
First place i'd say, i liked it more than chiefslayer overall

It's still weird that that db played it safe with the stats on deku end despite having deku at country in a previous episode and his peer Shiggy at country
I get wanting to not make miles vs Deku feel like an utter slaughter but just odd in grand scheme of it
Not really they also avoided directly mentioning universal+ Doomslayer despite giving lore scaling to Kratos, unless a stomp is done in a self aware manner (e.g: Mask/Big Head Vs Deadpool) current DB needs to maintain the standard that the loser stood a chance (even if it's 0.1%) and that ofc means using more conservative ends for the obvious winner although they did mention the main feat was done by a Deku that was far from his best.

The difference is slayer hasn't been on since s1 so it makes to play nice with his stats against chief

Deku was last used in s9

I just saw a comment on YouTube which said that Deku vs Miles was the first time since 2020 that a anime character beat a Marvel character.

Can anyone verify that? Even if Deku needed to beat a street tier to get a W, at least he was able to beat Marvel's W streak over anime

Damn who wins between Lelouch vs Char? I’m watching Gundam rn with a friend so I know who I’m rooting for.
I think Char? Never watched Code Geass but Lelouch is 8-A and Supersonic, while Char has like Tier 7 and Hypersonic even in just his early stuff.

His later stuff has Tier 6 and Relativistic stuff iirc.

Do we have Gundam pages here on vs wiki?
Honestly, If u make one. You'd spend your time reading gunpla boxes or finding obscure Japanese books about it.
that's why no one made one yet. Ask spacebattles for that one (honestly double edged sword).

Just checked, yea, last time was Broly vs Hulk in Dec 2020, with Venom vs Crona shortly before that.
Though to be fair, there had only been 2 since then: ThorGeta and Mags vs Tetsuo.

Pretty darn close if it's just Zeta or OYW Char, but Char likely wins, but he stomps with Sazabi or Full Frontal stuff

Honestly, I see this more as an army fight to better emphasize Lelouch's intellect (aka his main thing) and the more tactical side of Gundam. Char likely wins the army battle via funny meteor and colony drop. Also, Minosky particles are no joke, communications systems be damned. But Lelouch has the edge in troops with C.C. and Jeremiah hard-countering Newtype powers, and Kallen's Gurren dura neg and Rolo's time stop are going to be a huge game-changers. Suzaku also counters Newtype precog via the "Live" command.

Code Geass profiles are very outdated. I see the verse reaching tier 7 and hypersonic at max with its mechs. Char does stomp with the higher UC stuff, though.

Doesn’t he have to make eye contact for that to work?
No, that's the Geass. FLIEJA is the funny nuke that I've seen reach tier 6 which uhhh....one-shots Char if Lelouch lands it

Too bad Lelouch also dies unless he is far enough, and Char could destroy Damocles (the nuke launcher, which is a floating fortress, basically what the Death Star was to the Galactic Empire) before it launches the nuke.

Honestly if Columbight didn't come in, I always liked Light vs Lelouch due to all their comparisons and contrasts. My favorite one still is Light gaining his main power in public and dying pathetically in a warehouse at the hands of his supernatural aid while Lelouch gained his main power by the hands of his supernatural aid in a warehouse and dies gloriously in public. There's like a gazillion different random contrasts and comparisons between the two.

Ligth vs Columbo is neat if the advertising wasn't "Columbo stomps Ligth via nerfing the latter's intellect while conveniently giving Columbo numerous advantages". They also have barely much in common, especially compared to Ligth vs Walter, John Kramer, Herbert West, and Friend

Light vs Lelouch is pretty cool ngl Wiz. A very classic rivalry that should have happened over Columbo (who can fight Tony Soprano or something)

If DB did a Gundam battle Royale, who would get in, and what would be the winner ranking?

Amuro in the Nu Gundam is an obvious one, and Sulleta with Aeriel because of Witch from Mercury bias.

There's honestly way too many main protagonists to be in a Gundam royale, but if I had to choose a winner, probably either the Unicorn or Phenex because time hax too OP, leaning towards the former because it has better on screen showings.

Maybe 5 like Megaman battle royale?

L vs Agent 47>>>47 vs Spy

Very hot take, but 47 in an intelligence battle is better than another Snake vs Sam. Like World's Greatest Detective vs World's Greatest Assassin goes harder than 47 vs funny French man

Ngl L VS 47 could make for a fun crossover short but idk if I'd want it over 47 vs Spy for a DB ep. Intelligence battles can be cool for a script, but I need the constant hype moments and aura from throwing hands injected into me for a vs animation to be entertaining.

Ah, yes. The two grand chessmasters protagonists of the 2000s anime and manga.
