Does Sagat have anyone as a matchup? He's a fan favourite, is integral to multiple facets of Street Fighters story (nearly dying to Ryu, killing Dan's dad, being a member of Shadaloo before leaving, etc.) and has been around since Street Fighter 1, but I never see any matchups with him that stick.

I honestly don't understand why so many people put their hopes on Death Battle, especially other Hulk fans in VSBW, since we've quietly seen how Doomsday and Broly beat him despite being much weaker than him. At least Godzilla has more merit than those two, and even so, Death Battle is a shitty show that will be popular, but on closer analysis, it has the same official status as a Wattpad fan fiction and a VS Thread in this Forum. At least the crossover between Godzilla and Marvel is official and probably now canon, so if Godzilla beats the Hulk in the comics, basically what Death Battle does won't matter.

Pretty sure Doomsday vs Hulk is debatable especially given Doomsday regen being broken these days
Broly case happened when folks were iffy on universal heralds at the time doesn't help that DB were inconsistent on how to scale them

I also think you underestimate the fact that DB could just...you know...not research Ultima beyond the anime and place him at Universe level.

I mean tbf those are very different Godzillas. In the one-shot comics we've gotten Godzilla also varied in power. He even got hurt by The Thing in the vs F4 comic. I think its better to interpret that as Godzilla growing in power.

I think the issue was with using Doomsday as he was back when Hulk vs Doomsday came out it wasn't nearly debatable. Especially since they gave Hulk a handicap he didn't even really have (IE: Basically 'running out of anger') and lowballing him to all hell when he was a universe-clapper like 30 years before the fight was written.

Yeaaaah, that too. At lot of the faults of HulkDay really just boil down to 'early DB research' problems.
When it comes to Hulk vs Broly it's more on the end of head-scratchingly confusing talks of where they scale herald-tier characters back then. Same issue that plagued Phoenix vs Raven and (in my opinion) Wanda vs Zatanna. They even gave Wanda their own 'hulkism' by still claiming her mental state was vulnerable when that hasn't really been a thing in the comics for a while before that fight even happened.
