It's funny how Akuma in various fan animations have folks determined to give him a cool fight
Raoh
Rugel
Shao Khan
Chameleon
It's like a law to have a cool fight with akuma
Because Akuma is a pretty cool character, his whole business being throw hands with you, learn and improve, aura farm with poses and show various other final bosses in most games they aint shit to him, like Bison and Gill for example, even in crossovers he is seen taking on powerful opponents or compared to top dogs

Honestly, DB needs to hire this guy.

Actually, let's do a little thought experiment:

Let's say for the sake of argument, you made your own VS show - you had 12 episodes per... whatever you want to define as a 'season', and you were thinking about each animation style (so: Sprite; 3D; Hand-drawn; hybrid etc.). What episodes would you want to distribute to each of said animation styles?

So in my case, for the hypothetical 'Xeno VS anything', I'd have something like this (subject to change, obviously):

EDIT: yes, the Shulk vs Stocke TN is JustSomeGuy97's - I am currently too lazy to make my own, despite Stocke being my preferred Shulk MU.

How are you still playing the PS3 to this day?

It was a second-hand one I got a couple of years ago. Also, procrastination means I'm not on it all that much, actually.

I do have a PS4 (it used to be my brother's, but I bought it off him after he went to live in Australia), but I got the PS3 afterwards because there are games for the system that I might want to play, but Sony doesn't do backwards compatibility that way for... some reason (something about their data architecture?). I did get Tales of Arise and 7 Days to Die for the PS4 though (guess why on that latter one), if that's information that interests you.

OK, then A) why is the Roadrunner render a 3D model when the animation was hand-drawn, and why would Wile draw the roadrunner into existence? Even with the 'board of directors are roadrunners' thing taken into account?

Definitely the most interesting and most promising choice for Kenshiro, Kakugo may be far less know thar Ryu but thematically speaking its definitely better.
Personally speaking here, I think another reason why I like it more than Ryu is just that Ryu vs Ken kind of falls into the same category of MUs as something like Reverse Flash vs Scourge or Nappa vs Conquest where it has to compete with another MU that has very similar animation potential, that being Akuma vs Raoh. And seeing how Akuma vs Raoh is just more popular and more likely than Ryu vs Ken, if it gets on the show I think Ryu vs Ken will just look very redundant in comprasion. (I know that Raoh and Akuma don't have one to one fighting styles as Ken and Ryu, especially Raoh who has his own style of Hokuto Shinken but the animation potential and the debate between the two are still extremely similar).

Fan-seasons are always fun to think about, recently I tried to make a season only with returning characters. There are way more than 12 episodes but I did specify each style, so it sorta counts?

I really needed a DBZ episode in the season and I had no better idea, plus ngl I think the fight potential is fun actually, especially if you give Vegito SDBH shit
Do Broly vs Asura. Or... uhhhh shit I only thought of GokuSonic & TrunksCable...

DBZ isnt required for each season.

Hell, imagine if we'd get a DBZ ep this year, which one would they pick?

It's a joke MU that I think I shared on this thread three years ago, I think? Anyways, I really wanted to include something unorthodox and out of the box and the MU was perfect for that, although I admit that it doesn't work if I want this fan-season to be taken seriously, probably should've placed something like Crona vs Ryuko or some other dumb shit like that

Broly vs Asura fuсking sucks tbh.
Nah that mu is pretty cool and Asura having a good episode would be excellent
I think it's themathically solid and honestly, the fight dynamic kind of kicks ass as well, due to japanese G1 continuity of Transformers being really high-scale
Eh it really doesn't the mu falls the moment Simon goes galaxy sized only way it works if you use Alternity for a comp
Hopefully Cell vs Metal Sonic
Hell no get that dog shit outta here
