Thing is the other guy is like a bigger "who?" Then Kenshiro, at least Ken had appeared in 2 games, his own and jump force, plus is pretty known by people to a degree from infamous memes and all
Other guy i would assume not much content was made for him, but even if it did, many prolly never heard of him and idk if Kenshiro alone can carry it

I didn't say anything about the likelihood, most likely yeah, it will not happen, it's a MU that I wrote connections literally three months ago and a lot of people in US are unfamiliar with Kakugo. Although I would say that Apocalypse Zero has more than enough content for death battle, the series has not one but two mangas, an anime adaptation and an infamous PS1 game that I probably shouldn't have mentioned.

I mean, I'm glad for the blog too, but let's not act like g1 or Death Battle for that matter will take it into consideration. Maybe they'll change their standards for researching Street Fighter, but I doubt it.

Tbf the Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia came out after the episode and it literally just does not consider the EX games canon. That’s pretty damning and I’d be shocked if death battle doesn’t acknowledge it.

In theory fine, but some of the custom sprites have too many wonky face angles which led to some weird scenes and I cant even fault if people dislike it due to that.

Absolute ass, like legitimately most of the time in DB rigging is extremely jank, DB should hire the animators behind Blaze vs Starfire or something, the way they did puppet rigging there is fantastic

Do all sprites fights post MilesStatic use puppet rigging?

Unfortunately, yes, the only episode that doesn't use a lot of puppet rigging is Vegeta vs Thor and even there were some puppet rigging moments (Like when Thor grabs an axe)

The weird thing is that they sometimes use the rigging even when they have complete sprite sheets, take Raven vs Jean for example, both sprites are taken from mugen, they have full frame-by-frame animation already made for them and yet they still did rigging in that episode. Why? Only god knows I guess.

Animation has budget and for MUs, lowkey? Have you seen the suggestions in r/DBM & Pitch videos? There is so much shit and now they can only do 12 MUs a year. Honestly DB has been doing fine enough in these fronts.
