It wasn't too long ago Mr "hype and aura" Sung Jin-Woo caused some discourse here after the mass downvotes of (S2) Solo Levelling due to him shedding tears after healing his mother and us roasting the literal motherless behaviour.

Now the verse got yeeted off VSBW it seems.

Poor Yuji tho, it's been a long time since I've seen a MC get overshadowed by multiple characters in their own verse and that's not even mention the trauma he got dragged through (Gege likely saw that "Nina moment" with the Elric brothers and decided to share some of that pain with his protag).

That's a outlier for Death Battle, i was literally in disbelief because I didnt think they'd go accept something like that lol. And yes I took a look at them, didnt say anything though, my thread days on this wiki have long since been over.
 
So, I had no idea that Tom and Jerry had their own Mobile Game by NetEase, I was like “WHAAAT!?!” Overall, I don’t think the animation was good to convey Cartoon physics, I mean, they could have done the animation from that one sequence in the Bill Cipher vs Discord battle.

Tbf, both aren't as blatant in their reality warping stuff and usually operate on a relatively grounded scale compared to Bill and Discord, so the fight not having crazy animation changes or things like that doesn't really hurt the ep imo.

I even had the Sundisk calc as the wallpaper for my forum profile for sometime, lol

People thought DB couldn't deliver a more controversial result than Ben VS Hal, and they did it, truly an impressive feat

I shall proclaim to the heavens for all of eternity that Ben vs Hal was, is, and shall remain accurate to this day. It may not have had the best research, but the results are concrete (especially with Kyle vs Simon making it an even greater stomp).

Spiderverse really did wonders for his popularity (Insomniac help too), also I just realized this will be the third time a Spider-Man character will (likely) get killed by an anime character on DB but at least it'll be a green hair hero instead of pink hair antagonist.

Death Battle doesn’t work like that, and even if it did the failsafe would pull Ben into Alien X to survive it

(As a side note it’s interesting how this wiki has never had Ben lose to Hal if I remember, even when Alien X was downgraded a few years back I think Hal was only 2-C during pre-crisis).

Isn't the failsafe a "final answer" to a situation Ben can't do nothing? Unless Hal attacks Ben first (Which very likely won't happen, from what i know from Hal's personality) i don't see why the failsafe would activate before Ben himself chooses an alien

They used peak Ben (AKA Ben with Master Control)

The fight is Ben VS Hal, not Alien X VS Hal, Ben starts in base and can switch between any alien he wants

From what I can tell the show thinks that “peak potential” for characters includes their strongest form, hence why they allow Sonic characters their super forms even though it’s not even something they can access at any time in an unlimited fashion like Ben can with Alien X.

It activates upon pain of the user’s death, responding to the threat by changing the user into an alien capable of dealing with whatever threat is facing the user. So Hal “oneshotting” Humungousaur with a universal punch or something wouldn’t just gib Ben and end the fight, but instead make Ben turn into Alien X to continue the battle.
